Rapper XXXTentacion was shot and killed during an apparent robbery Monday in Broward County, Florida, police said. 


The 20-year-old rapper, whose real name was Jahseh Onfroy, was leaving a motorsports store shortly before 4 p.m. when two men in a dark colored SUV shot and killed him in an apparent robbery, said Keyla Concepción, Broward County sheriff department public information officer.

Broward County deputies are actively looking for the two men and asking anyone who witnessed the shooting to come forward, Concepción said.

At the time of his death, he was awaiting trial for a domestic violence incident involving his pregnant girlfriend, according to court documents. And he had been under house arrest for a time while he awaited trial on battery and harassment charges. The house arrest was lifted in March, according to Miami-Dade court documents.

XXXTentacion also stirred controversy. His September 2017 music video for the viral hit "Look at Me" sparked backlash for staging a scene depicting XXXTentacion lynching a young white boy.
The video also referenced flashpoints in the national debate on race such as the 1991 Rodney King beating, the lynching in Mississippi of 14-year-old Emmett Till in 1955, the 2014 Ferguson, Missouri riots, the police shooting of Philando Castile in Minnesota in 2016 and the 2017 Charlottesville, Virginia, violence.

An Inspirational person to me and one of the people that pushed me to do graphics back in the day. Looking through my early work I found this:

It's pretty obvious who did it. Throughout his Instagram posts, there are multiple mentions about X, including him crossing his arms into an X within the photo. He also owns a black dodge. He also shows the weapon (a Glock) which was the weapon used in the shooting, in "Hook fish and Chicken" which is close to the location of the shooting. Even the red mask which is what the shooter was confirmed wearing by multiple witnesses.

I didn't like him, and have nothing to say. Guy looked like a broom, got killed at 20. As pathetic as that may seem, and as uncaring I may seem, I give my condolences to anyone who saw him as an inspiration, close friend or family.

It seems that a select few people have started spouting some conspiracy shit that it's a PR stunt for what would've been his new album 'No Pulse', and quite frankly, I find this to be an incredibly large disrespect, especially considering the fact that it's a speculation produced by 'fans'.

Authorities wouldn't cover the death of anyone, and certainly not some plastic-rapper.

They don't have to cover the death, no image of the body has been released as of yet and it wont be.

I don't know him so It doesn't hit me as a shock but hes on trial for domestic abuse so why are people saying hes all good?

He apparently abused his ex girlfriend while she was pregnant but was going on trial in October. There was strong rumours that she lied that he didn't do it some people are saying she admitted that she was lieing about it.

Yeah he did allot of bad shit but that's no valid reason to let the dude fuckin' die. You can't validate a human beings death because of stuff that they've done in their life, X has done good shit too.

I never said he deserved to die. I said he was a shithead so I don’t really feel bad about his death as he had no real positive traits that I know of.

And you can validate someone’s life choices as a reason to kill them, bht only a few states in the US do that currently. That and, well, self-defense.
