I accidentally ran over someone standing in the middle of the road = Vehicle access blacklist for 4 hours and Perm warning.

Someone else RDM's people breaking multiple rules = "dealt with in-game"
Bob intentionally runs over 15 people and is punished

Bill accidentally runs over 1 person, does not notice, and keeps driving, Bill is punished as severely as Bob.

Doesn't really line up does it?

You just proved my point

Not all infractions require punishment, not all infractions are the same, and never should all infractions be handled identical to each other as each situation is unique.

Except the guy he reported did what he did intentionally and Cherno did what he did unintentionally.

An extreme case of presumed bias leading to irrational extreme actions being taken on their part.

There is bias for sure in the community and it has a varriying degree of effects, but not the kinds he thought.
Or, and this is a very strange idea, I know, maybe he was telling the truth?

*gasp
Ce'st la vie, it is up to you to believe what you will

I find it funny how you repeatedly use Rocket's resignation as an example without having half an ounce of background details regarding his resignation. He said he does not want to publicly mention names, but it's hella obvious who is it and said staff member(s) have since resigned
Often times the staff aren't biased towards individual players, but towards the government as a whole. They are much more lenient with government workers and tend to always take their side first. I've had many situations where a cop has purposely run off road to CDM me in a chase and staff says it's okay because it's dealt with in-character, that is they have a paramedic revive me and throw me in jail for 15 minutes. Fair right? I've also been blacklisted in my past whilst role playing a president-sanctioned police officer in cooperation with the FBI to arrest some corrupt SWAT members. They pulled their weapons after we arranged an arrest and pointed our weapons at them and proceeded to give us, their arresting officers, a countdown before they would open fire. We of course opened fire just before their countdown ended as they continued to refuse to lower their weapons or listen to reason. Because we weren't actually government slot players, the staff had a bias towards us and immediately took SWATs side first. They literally froze us in a corner and yelled at us without obtaining our side of the story while the SWAT officers got to walk around and accuse us. I then ended up with an "invalid use of weapons" blacklist.

The forums is a whole other story of bias. Staff members often make up their own forum rules and will strike down posts without giving you a fair chance to argue. No where in the rules does it say you may not reapply for blacklist appeals but I've had threads closed because staff just didn't want to deal with them. This includes when reasons and punishments have actually been changed (due to pettiness and further punishment for trying to respectfully and logically argue against staff decisions in the courtroom) and I would like to contest the new reason. They won't hear a new case/argument because it's still regarding "the same thing".
/end rant
Check my thread history for proofs if ya want.

I really hope you are joking? If not, then get out of this discussion and let the people of this community express their feelings freely towards injustice.
Based on the content and direction of this thread, I feel this is more of a specific instance where you felt staff were biased.  Using Rocket's resignation without context to support your case is kinda like bringing up Taco Bell during a conversation about best fast food burger.

I looked over the video in the link you provided.  Its missing some context (events prior) and by itself looks more like you were not complying and ended up being shot.  He was telling you and a few others to go a direction and you not only didn't, but you stepped backwards, then were shot.  While the context of why you were being detained IS important, you failed to comply within a reasonable time and were executed for it.  Criminals can perform that action.

As for if you were randomly hostaged, hard to say.  It looks like he already had some hostages or intent to take hostages, and you being a cop who could attempt to stop that activity were also taken hostage so as to avoid killing you.  This is purely speculation as I wasn't there and don't know what happened, but that's what I predict (from your evidence) happened.

Thread title is kinda misleading.  Perhaps something like "Opinions on this RP situation" would be better.
fricc the admins reeeeeeeee

He told me to back and I did, he then proceeded to shoot me. Doesn't sound like you watched the video with your eyes open.
