I have recently encountered an issue which is staff being biased, players who are friends with admin get off with breaking rules without any real punishment, either just a simple weapon blacklist for 2 hours for mass rdm or even closing my player report after "talking to the admin" and being told it was "resolve in game". Anyone else wanna share their stories?
I have a story to share.
I have a pretty bad reputation on LimeLight. Which means that staff aren't my friends, rather they hate me. So when their friends get off with breaking rules that actually deserves punishment, I get permabanned for something that didn't really affect ones RP. I didn't know a rule and therefore I broke it, the reason I didn't know it was because it didn't say anything about it on the rules page. As you may now, when getting shot at FearRP no longer applies, but apparently, if you wait too long, FearRP applies again. It's obvious that I wouldn't know that, and now I know, but admins take any chance they get on banning me.
Just my story.
I must have déjà vu cause I swear we've had a post just like this before

So is this the 3rd or 4th "Staff Bias" thread?
Then again the other ones had reasons for discussion and not just "Why staff seems bias from my vague situation". Would be nice to see HOW a player who happens to know a staff member doesn't get in trouble over you or other examples so far that have reputations for breaking rules. Maybe it's because those players know the rules better and you guys are fed up from being punished for not learning from mistakes and need to find someone to blame your own actions on because you can't take responsibility?
Yea, I think that's it.

Bullshit staff are more lenient towards their friends,
Myself and Rocket were, and still are, very good friends and 3/4 of my punishments were issued by him. Obviously there are some bad cookies who seen guilty of this, but such staff members have been removed from the team.

Yeah no thanks, pass.
I'm not up for repeating myself every month.
Anyone who wants to is free to read mine and Enzyme's responses in the last thread -

Oh lordy not this again.
I really can't be arsed - There is no bias in the staff team.
Pretty sure the argument has been exhausted, but there is of course inherent bias. Being aware of it and trying to reduce it where possible is generally seen as the given amongst the current staff.
Equally these threads are important for letting community vent their feedback, would rather on this thread than constantly through OOC.
Equally in cases where people may have actually experiences bias, it allows a discussion point without having to post an UBR. Oftentimes those claiming bias did break the rules, but find it unfair those in similar situations weren't punished. Threads such as this offer a potential explanation, or if not actual evidence to bias which can then be taken onboard for the future, and perhaps alter processes internally.
Any discussion is good. Silencing discussion is bad.
Many have told me that the situation I presented was "vague". When they say this, they are not bringing new stories or perspectives into the discussion, nor do they respond to what I said. How come I make a PR with clear evidence, only to get the response that "This has been dealt with in-game" and have the perpetrator get off without any punishment. The admin who "dealt with it" is also a known friend of the perpetrator, so tell me again how it's fair? If I did what he did, I would not be back on the server for quite some time as I am sadly not friends with any admin and would thus get punished much harsher than the offender in this case.

Again, vague.
What PR?
What did they do?
How was it handled IG?
How does their relationship effect his judgement?
There are no questions to answer as you haven’t given anyone information to go off of.
What PR? https://limelightgaming.net/forums/thread-20904.html
What did they do? It says in the PR

How does their relationship effect his judgement? I just explained, the staff member gave their friend no punishment whatsoever and my case was closed without any resolution.

Based on the fact no punishment was issued but it was still moved to approved, it's fairly obvious to anyone with half an ounce of common sense that Toro was given a verbal warning ingame by 26?
Exactly, a verbal warning which basically means no punishment whatsoever, not even weapon blacklist. I lagged out and ran into someone and was thus given a permanent warning and a vehicle blacklist for 4 hours, and this guy gets off with a verbal warning? You just proved my point, he got a verbal warning and no real consequences were faced.
