Explain your suggestion, in detail:
Custom Vehicle Skin Material

Explain why the suggestion should be implemented:
I feel like it would be great if we had the addition of custom vehicle skins into the server. Although they will not replace a vehicle skin, it would be replaced using the sub material tool. This provides a wider range of roleplay such as ClanRP, SecurityRP, Window Cleaning roleplay etc.

Didn't read that part, oh well you get the point anyhow.
Yeah, could you elaborate what kind of materials you are talking about? How it would work? I want to vote on this but feel I need some clarification on what it is exactly. A picture would be nice if you had one.

I believe he is talking about the Custom Material tool we have that allows you to change individual materials on a model instead of the whole thing. For example you can change the main paint job, or the wheel rim colors, or the windows all seperately.

Pretty much what Soviet said, allows you to swap a individual texture of a prop, vehicle etc. Then have a custom material/skin added to the server which a staff member or mechanic can then replace the texture with a custom one. Aka a Fumuku skin like this one.

Couldn't this cause more and more usage of the overall content size? If so, where is the line of limitation on this?

While I like the idea, perhaps this should be reserved for specifics, such as clans?

I think that the situation would lead to a ton of users flooding the boards with requests for skins that are largely specific to the individual rather than the collective. While I support being an individual, being a loner myself, doing so on a scale that will directly impact the overall content size in such a fashion isn't a great way to go about it.

Still holding vote for now till we talk everything out and reach the end of one of the possible roads. I WANT to support this, but I don't want to spend an extra 3-5 minutes joining on an already TOO LONG load into the server. If you could check the server logs you'd find many quotes from OOC about how long the loading time already is. My favorite was "The time it takes to join this server is so long I had time to rub one out, wtf."

The tool used to do this is already in the game. I've used it plenty of times to enhance role plays. Seen here
is a Hummer H1 with a custom skin using the Sub-Material tool.

A texture file is barely anything when it comes to the size of the file. Searching up the bentley blower model and that size is only 4mb at only 2048x2048.

The line of limitation is if the texture/file suits the roleplay intended. This will most likely be limited to clan roleplay but if staff wish to allow for players to use a certain skin then they can ofc. It means players cannot use the skin without a staff member (or mechanic if possible).
Alright, I'm in on this one now that I understand it all the way.

Set up a system to request a skin for your clan. This will only be able to be accessed by members of your clan.

Why -support then say that? Considering I said this earlier in a reply.

Only if the system is made accessible to clans only.
