Suggestion Type: [In-Game/Forums/Other]
In-Game {
https://www.gmodstore.com/scripts/view/4...y-doorbell}
Explain your suggestion, in detail:
Have doorbells that are placed for players to use. (Using the permanent system rather than user manual)
Explain why the suggestion should be implemented:
Gives more of a reason for passive roleplay and allows players to notice when a player is at their front door. It is a far more passive way than the aggressive knocking on the doors.
rather have it as a spawnable entity then have them on every door, lagging the server and being spammed.
+support
+support for the suggestion (and for the doorbell with the camera to be able to use it as a camera prop/doorbell), but -support for the suggestion Gamerpro posted afterwards. Of course, free is always better, but... free... isn't always better? If that makes any sense, lol. I just don't like the models in said content and in terms of realism the doorbells posted by Sours are better.

I have no idea what "darkrpish" looks like. To me, they look like doorbells - that work. The speakers are questionable which I understand but in a household there is a device that your doorbell does go though. There would be easy ways to solve the issue of this "darkrpish" look.
SNIP
Never mind. I'm being stupid as usual and took the context wrong.

It's just a lot easier just to buy the script though...

I believe a developer / admin once said that LL would rather create something theirselfs then buy something.

But stealing something off of the workshop and adapting it isn't really creating something themselves
