Still getting stuck on a file which isn't even there, odd.. have you reapplied the "don't allow custom files from servers" thing in the multiplayer tab of Options?
Yes, Still crashing. gmod stopps responding when downloaing the file
Whenever I put the"don't allow custom files from servers" it crashes when it says "retreiving server info"
Hmmm, again while you have the custom files blocked, can you make sure Model quality is set to "High"
And you aren't tabbing out of the window or anything?
Still no joy with model on high. just freezes at "retrieving server info"
no tabbing out, only when its been there for about 5 mins and fps don't change at all, then message appears saying "Gmod has stopped responding" tried waiting longer and still no joy
