I cant connect to v4b1.
Ingame sounds can be heard but im stuck in loading screen (Sending client info).
I have all content packs + halloween content + Halloween snpcs.
The v4b1 map I use is the same as on LL.
All other addons are disabled.
Game cache has been verified.
I have CS:S and HL2 content downloaded (Not actual games)
I have read your guides but dont seem to know why I cant connect.
Try this.
You will have to have low resolution textures, but atleast you will be able to connect. Also, don't worry about the resolution, you can change it later.
Okay, is it only Limelight that your client fails to connect to?
If so, please add
-condebug to your launch parameters and attempt to join Limelight. Once you've experienced the issue on your client, exit out and navigate to your base GMOD directory. A new file will be there named
console.log
Please upload the content of that file to a pastebin then link it in here or PM it to me.
If you can't remember how to add launch parameters, then in the spoiler is a GIF that'll show you.
Ah, I see your issue.
You've got a similar problem to what Jim encountered but it doesn't seem to be exactly the same. As you've said you already attempted to add -dxlevel 95 to your launch parameters (if you haven't then please do so and let me know) we'll proceed to diagnosing your textures as this is also something that can trigger the issue your getting now.
Have you bought CS:S or ripped it from a content pack?
-dxlevel is supposed to do that to your resolution.
Where did you get the content from and how is it installed?
Did you recently updated your graphics driver? Also what graphics card are you using?
Mind listing the specs of your computer?
The error I'm seeing from your GMOD is DirectX saying it's unable to make the necessary calls required to deal with the stuff the gamemode is asking it to render. Generally, this is caused by GMOD not being able to detect the textures needed or an issue with DirectX itself.
Could you show me the folder structure of the file your using as content for CSS?
