first and foremost, this comes from my experience and could be inaccurate. this will be divided in 5 sections: paramedic, firefighter, police, president and nexus desk secretary
here is the template, i'll try to follow it

Suggestion for <in-game/forum/teamspeak etc.> In-game

In detail, explain your suggestion: having some additions, nerfs and changes to the government

let's start out:


I) Paramedic

the paramedics have a big problem on their timing which is the ambulance. not many persons RP as first responders , so i suggest changing the ambulance and adding a first responder vehicle.
for the ambulance it could either be the GMC, the sprinter or the GTAIV ambulance

for first responder it will be a bit more tricky.  it could either be the prius or a tahoe i found on the workshop
the prius has already the skin but hasn't a separate photon skin, and must be adjusted. the tahoe looks nice and would be better to make fresh spawns learn the ropes

II) Firefighters


firefighters need something lighter and better controllable for new players to ride into.  the fire truck is really heavy and it could be positive if new firefighters could ride in lighter vehicles, like pickups or SUV's

III) Police


the police in my opinion are too overpowered in the face of petty criminals. running away from them is almost impossible, and that forces people into aggressiveRP to not get arrested. also sometimes it isnt even viable because fresh spawns can have shotguns and MP5's and will shoot at your car and hit it with pinpoint accuracy even if you are going at 60mph. so, i have a couple suggestions:

1) change the taser to either an X3 (3 medium range stun shots, not 100 automatic spray) or a stungun (like now but 1-0.5 m range) and in foot chases. i should be able to increase my running speed and stamina by running around or with a treadmill (gym RP) to run faster from the coppers or chase faster the crooks

2) police officers should have a rank system that determines what they can use, that is a function of all the in-game hours and could be like this (please correct me if i am too strict or lenient) . it is of all the hours combined because aggressive RP is not practised only as a cop but as all jobs:

0-15 hours: CSO = glock

15-25 hours: Cadet = P250/glock with mods

25 - 40 hours : Officer = mp5 without mods, p250/glock both with mods

40 - 60 hours : Corporal = mp5 with mods, p250/glock both with mods

60 - 85 hours:  Sergeant = Shotgun without mods, mp5 with mods, p250/glock both with mods

85- 115 hours: Lieutenant = Shotgun with mods, mp5 with mods, p250/glock both with mods

115- 150 hours: Captain = AR15 without mods, Shotgun with mods, mp5 with mods, p250/glock both with mods

150 - 185 hours : Deputy Inspector (Police Major) : AR15 with mods, Shotgun with mods, mp5 with mods, p250/glock both with mods

185 hours and above : Inspector : AR15 without mods, Shotgun with mods, mp5 with mods, p250/glock both with mods, MR96 without mods (Detective Snub nosed).

also admins should be able to demote a player from a rank or cap him at a certain rank


IV) President

1) the pres should be able to warrant people for executions and they should be teleported near the gas chamber where a cop should proceed to execute the captive. if a cop doesn't arrive in 10 minutes, he gets released.

2) the pres should be able to do certain things only if he is a "Dictator" or a "corrupt president", for example arresting people for 15 minutes for petty reasons or totally ban weapons without having the possibility to obtain a license


V) Nexus Desk Secretary



the NDS should be able to do dispatcher RP with commands or voice chat. as commands it could be a command like /assign paramedic/fireman/police officer name description of the emergency e.g. /assign francysol3c shootout at corleone and it would pop up in a corner of the screen in a quite big font. there should be functions as /assign au (all units of every type) /assign af (all firemen) /assign am (all medics), /assign ap (all police) and assign as (all SWAT) 


How should the developers add this? (BE DETAILED WITH EVERYTHING!) add the commands, add or rework the ranking systems, add the vehicles into the game, change the taser, change the president rules

Why should this be implemented?
those are the things that bug me out the most while playing government or having to cope with them. i think other players are annoyed by them too, so i think at least some of them have a psace into the game

I suggest you make this multiple different suggestions instead of one big one, would help alot.

Ramming any car, especially the president's vehicle is an arrestable offense, so I'm not sure why you use that as an example. A default law is that insulting or hurting a government official will result in an arrest, so that is not a dictator law. Many other countries have outright banned firearms from civilians while maintaining their democratic governments, so that is not really a dictator law either.

You try hitting someone jumping around like something out of a cheesy comedy movie with a conventional taser, since that's why the taser was changed to what it is now. In the real world people can't jump around like morons to avoid the prongs fired from a taser as they do in the game, which is why the 100 size magazine is there.

Why implement a death warrant when all we have to do in the first place is walk down there and do them in?

What is the reason for limiting police equipment based on their hours? Every police car in America kitted for patrol has a shotgun and/or an AR15 ready to go at a moment's notice. New police aren't all idiots that aren't competent with their firearms. By implementing such a suggestion all you do is limit a police officer's ability to defend himself as well as his ability to support his fellow officer.

"Police are too overpowered as far as petty criminals go"(Paraphrase )  THAT IS THE POINT. Police are trained and equipped using money from taxpayers and the resources of a powerful government, and are charged with upholding the law. A petty criminal has exactly ZERO chance against the police, and that's demonstrated here on Limelight.

I'm doing Police Officer Or Sergeant most of the time and i think the ranking should change,
4-14 hours: CSO = glock

i just put ranks to make it look more professional, another thing that could do the same functions would be levels e. g. i have 110 hours i am an officer level 6 aka a lieutenant
or having the person with the most experience become the chief via auto-promote with an equation like: hours * Gov REP = result

I definatly support the idea of nerfing the stung gun to a more realisitc single-shot system.
Dispatch:
Definatly a good idea. However i would add a "/avaible" "/busy" command to block assingments whilst occupied with an rp sceneario. You could technicly use the radio for that but if theres a change in dispatch or the scenario is lasting for a longer time those thigns could be forgotten and officers would be assigned task they cant fullfil without an interuption of the current rp or a huge delay.
Also it could be nice to have a "/code99" or "/99" command to assign priority calls (that would reach all officers regardless of their status)
Police Ranks:
Definatly a good idea however i would suggest that the ar-15 and probably the mods or the shotgun should be bounded to reputation points. Even though long time members are usually more experienced playtime is not a propper equivalent (i started FL when i was kid. Still had a lot of hours). It would also be nice if (as i suggested a while ago) ranks would also have acces to different sets of gear (skins). For eg: a traffic vest (everyone), a stab ves (low/mid rank) undercover,formal and possibly tropper/sherrif uniforms (high ranked). Just the idea off having a few more outfit option would enhance the rp alot. People would get deeper into unit specific rp. We could have people volunterely dedicating themselves to specific duties/field. That would definatly add some depth, dedication and enthusiasm as well as it would help a lot with our rp possibilitys (we can all use /me but some things would be nice to see [that one truck driver cant see that ive done/me puts on a traffic vest 5 minutes ago etc.)
Over all support for the police ranks but some equippment or the higher ranks should be requireing some rep points.
The First Responder:
I would love to see that however i fear the competition of those who just race to a scene with their suvs and those who actually use a truck. A second skin could be added to the Fire-Suburban, as well as fireman could get a second skin. This way we would have a first responder thats still requiring an ambulance. FD is usually able to assist in such cases/is running own emts.

1. -Support | How about you RP the situation by escorting him with your vehicle to the execution area?
2. -Support | He can already do those things without being labeled a Dictator. It's how you announce the law, that sets your RP Style's Mood.

1. -Support | Not everyone will always want to do Dispatch RP. If you find a group that does, go in TS and into the Government Channel.

i need to ask you a favour. a suggestion about the light vehicles was denied because it was perceived as "adding new vehicles" but it is just a skin with a photon configuration in both cases, so can you un-deny it?
