RE: Remove Shaders: Round 2 - Spai - Jun 6, 2016 Tis an on or off thing unfortunately, previous picture was a a phx plate. Granted it was a shit material for me to choose, here is a better one RE: Remove Shaders: Round 2 - Jono - Jun 6, 2016 I'd argue that, assuming it's easy to use, having a shallow depth of field would look better than having completely different colors. I mean if you add decoration props to the side then it'd give the depth of field back, assuming the prop itself is shallow. (Note that 95% of shader issues people have is on the flat PHX plates (Without the metal indention, just plane white grid ((e.g 2x3)). Would you be able to upload one with that prop, and see how that looks? RE: Remove Shaders: Round 2 - Spai - Jun 6, 2016 The reason that the left one is darker, is purely because the maps lighting isn't being used on it. Itll be the same throughout all the props, theyll all be a shade darker. Ive looked into using local model lighting to simulate the world light to a degree, cant quite tweak it to the right shade though or anything close for that matter. They do more harm than good RE: Remove Shaders: Round 2 - bimkx - Jun 7, 2016 rip easy way thx mr. garry https://wiki.garrysmod.com/page/IMaterial/SetShader RE: Remove Shaders: Round 2 - Jono - Jul 14, 2016 Bumping dis shit RE: Remove Shaders: Round 2 - Spai - Jul 14, 2016 (Jun 7, 2016, 09:29 PM)BLΛNK BΛNSΗΣΣ Wrote: rip easy way thx mr. garry The problem isnt do with shaders, its to do with the way the engine lights entities. This is done and submitted to the admin team, waiting on them to add it to the servers.
