As a cop, you basically drive around, get into a gunfight, drive around some more, get into another gunfight, drive around some more again, and get into another gunfight.
Not really the fault of the police officer, that; everyone and their neighbor harboring contraband, assault rifles and whatnot.
We need more passiveRP
Today I did SaunaRP with and we got 3 customers in 1h30min
Once I did furniture shop rp, 2h, 1 customer
Yesterday I did hamburger stand rp, yes I got REP from that, but still, I had only 3 customers in a hour. 2 new players and
We should improve PassiveRP somehow
You can't force someone to do something they don't enjoy. It's not going to work. Forcing passiveRP participation will most likely help contribute to the drop of player base that we are experiencing.
It is a lot more exciting to get in a shootout than it is to sit in a sauna.
I like passiverp but the problem is having to spam a million adverts. Having a sign also helps getting people.
There's no incentive for PassiveRP. Although their are a small minority of players that do it just because they enjoy it, the majority does it for rewards. Something we don't have.
tbh the most annoying thing of passiverp is waiting for people to show up
I really love passive RP and will always do, the only downside is When waiting for players. Once someone comes I could stand there RPing for hours :P

Quite frankly everyone does everything for a "reward", whether that be pleasure or money or whatever. It just happens to be that aggressive RP has a lot more incentive for basically everyone, personally I consider PassiveRP boring as shit because you stand doing nothing for 2 hours while everyone else gets in gunfights then you give up and do something else
The only time I see people string involved with a passive rp is when there is some sort of rp like a gas station fire, and they only do this because they know they might get a REP. Whenever a mini event/rp starts the teams only fill up cause people want REPS, and know one really gets involved otherwise

How da fuq u dare, Perkele-man will kill you.
But yeah I know it's more exciting to get in a shotout. But still, why people doesn't try "new" things

people open a store, nobody comes, and they start shooting people.
Attempting to promote passiveRP is one way to get the server going, but it is noticeable that there are people who only know how to do agressiveRP, like starting a shootout for a small to none reason, being a corrupt police officer who impounds your car away from a parking space and puts it through spike strips (*cough, cough* Dan *cough, cough*), and It's simply kind of boring shit/crap to see people only doing agressiveRP every single day of this server that has one year running and counting, and sure, if it's the only thing they know to do, it's kinda fine by me, but just doing shootouts and running away from police, contrawhoring, etc... is just plain out done, so why not try to promote people who only do aggressiveRP to learn or try to do something that doesn't involve on the bad side for just a single day. Is it too hard to ask for something like that? It may be or may be not hard (for some people), although some of you say "Well that's what keeps the server active" or something around those things and sure it does keep the server on a running for hours and hours, but can we change that? As for the sad reality, we the people can't change the way people do their Roleplays
May god have mercy upon the agressive and passive souls, because I may not have mercy on one each other
Gun Store + /me's and /it's (optional) = PassiveRP.
People will go to PassiveRP they like. Building a Sauna won't interest most players as most won't even go to one in real life (At least our playersbase for that matter).
People like races, make a race track.
People like guns, make a range.
People like shopping, make a mall.
But for the love of god don't make a Bank. Everyone will die in 10 minutes max.

That's why I made a sauna. So they could see what does it look like if they don't know.
