As the door is an entity, I believe it is possible to make a script that makes the door react differently. So instead of setting the door to close as soon as someone exits the trigger area, it should leave the door open for a set amount of time (10-20 seconds)

It may be possible but not 100% sure.

Temar was toying with the door earlier.
The new door is much faster, and also does not allow any cars through unless the cars are no collided.
I think it's a Work In Progress....

Make a suggestion for trip-able alarm systems if there isn't one already. Place gates to replace the garage door. There are plenty of ways around 'not hearing the door opening'.
