[font=trebuchet ms]Internal Locking System
Hello Community,
We're thinking of either removing the internal locking system or keeping it, for that we wish to discuss this system with you the community to understand your point of view on this.
The internal locking system is a system in cars where if you hold Alt+left click it'll internally lock the car, therefore it wouldn't let anyone from the inside get out of it until someone unlocks it by doing ALT+Rightclick.
The system is a bit buggy and really annoying for most players as well as we get allot of people complaining about them being stuck inside the car. So what do you think? Post your opinions below and vote on the poll.
OPTION ONE
Have it so you have the internal locks as binds that you can change and edit.
OPTION TWO
Adding a simple system where when you lock the doors you're not able to get in or out, but when you unlock the doors you're able to get in and out.
OPTION THREE
Make internal locking a purchasable item (similar to Cruise)

I seen a thread before made by Zecon to get it removed, yet it failed and was denied. It think we should removed it, I cannot find the post Zecon did, but if I can I will post it here.
I say it should be removed. Its usefulness is zero to none. The only time I did used was as a cop to prevent the perp from jumping out, but still didn't made my job easier or harder.
If u impove the transport of hostages im in
Either make it so a car has to be normally unlocked for a person roped or handcuffed to leave or similar. Or fix the eject command. All in all remove the system but keep it possible for those cuffed or roped to be trapped in a vehicle.
I would say remove it from THIS binding combination, so not as Alt+LMB.
The issue lies within this combo already being used for indicators, and Alt for the remote door control.
As a result most of the times that people internally lock their car is accidentally; and besides locking your car and driving it into the lake to leave victims to die a horrible watery death, there's really not many other uses.
So, I propose these alternatives:
1. Make internal locking a purchasable item (similar to Cruise)
2. Make a command - /int [lock/unlock]

I like Safira's idea. Overall the current system is most commonly accidentally used. Sometimes without even knowing it leading to people sending in @ commands because they are stuck in their cars.
The system needs to be removed and/or changed in a way that it could not be accidentally done during basic car functions.

Having the whole feature removed would basically ruin kidnap situations
sometimes since not everyone who joins the server follows the rules and I believe having such small features like internal locking does enforce the seriousness of the rp and new players to follow the rules in some cases. Having to call a staff member all the time does ruin the roleplay athmosphere.
Please do not remove it unless you implement a way tied up hostages can't get out the car. As many a time in the likes of Mafia RP going to whack someone and let them sleep with the fishes has this came in useful.
So yeah make that cuffed and roped people can't get out and you can get this piece of shit to fuck

Changing this to make it a command would be simple enough. Let's add this to the next batch of bug fixes.

I like these ideas. Also, sometimes there's a bug where if you click straight after getting in your car in order to lock it on the outside it will sometimes internally lock instead, which can be just as irritating.
I wouldn't say remove it, but change it as Safira said. I find it very useful for hostage situations when transporting the hostages.
