Donations etc are subsequently down, you will have to extend other people's donation period thus them not buying it as soon as you would have liked. People going elsewhere and then paying for their services instead of yours...

That's what I would be mentioning.

Yeah, OVH are definitely smart enough to cover their own asses. As in:
5.1 The Customer acknowledges that the Supplier shall not be responsible for any failure or malfunction of the
Dedicated Server.

Might be worth transferring to a more specialised hosting company (trusting that sufficient backups are available to transfer data), that can fit our needs accordingly and also migrate DDoS attacks better. For now, this is the ship that we are in..
It's been so long I doubt they will do anything until you really start being a huge pain to them about it.
I take back what I said earlier about keeping our nose out of server business.

Switch host. This ridiculous, unnecessary and unprofessional. If there were to be another DDoS in the future, there would be a high chance of this disaster repeating itself. It's been more than a week without any updates, even though OVH claims to have 24/7 tech support. What I conclude out of all of this is that OVH is very, VERY lazy and unprofessional. Setting up servers at a new host isn't that much of a hassle and could also include better protection in general and/or against DDoS attacks.

I'm done.

PS: I'm not frustrated towards LL, only the lazy host because this is just getting ridiculous.

Honestly I'm getting a bit concerned here.  Last update was on the 19th and then silence.

It seems that the focus has shifted to another game.  Now don't get me wrong, having a backup game to play while things are being worked on is great.  However I don't think it should be the main priority, which at this moment is the feeling I get.

We are well past week one now, and the same message pops up... we plan to be up again soon.  How long is soon?  I'm hoping before October but I'm not sure anymore.
Hopefully a solution can be reached soon.
im not plowing through all these post

when is it estimated the servers will go back online

I don't know about the scale of the DDoS but the host I use automagically blocks fairly quickly, even if there is a little downtime
Can't believe i thought OVH is extremely professional at their shit.

They surrendered on LimeLight literally like during the WWII. They might as well start waving their white flag around.

Right now there is a tournament being setup for CS:GO, this has been the main focus for the past few days.
Alright guys! Thought I'd just keep you up to date! Anyway last I heard we've had no response from OVH at all for 3 days now. I believe our plan is to look at other hosts soon if they don't get their shit in order.

We're gonna call them today If all goes well and I'll keep everyone updated with an outcome

Oh and the reason there's the whole CSGO thing is that we thought the community might wanna spend some time together through other means Smile it's just a side project whilst the servers are out!
You pay for Europoor servers, you get Europoor servers.
Just switch to the American East Coast already.
