Full Version: Pot Brownie Selling Price Increase

Good day team,

Explain your suggestion, in detail:
To make pot brownies, you require level 14 in cooking, you use 15 weed, then make 1 pot brownie. I just went to the black market NPC. 15 weed sold for $7,500, while a Pot Brownie sold for $7,600. I suggest that there should be an incentive to cooking weed into Pot Brownies for a great increase in selling price.

Explain why your suggestion should be implemented:
It takes a few hours to level cooking, and would make the process a bit more hands-on. There is simply no purpose in selling Pot Brownies right now, other than to get rid of them. It would reward the cooking level, the time investment, and make it a bit more fun of a process than just plain weed.

Thank you team,
Z
Thank you for your suggestion, MRZ!

It will take a while for it to be reviewed by our staff-members.
Meanwhile, expect some nice feedback from our community.
The amount of effort thats goes into training cooking and going through the effort to cook brownies to specifically sell to the dealer needs to be rewarded more than a meer $100 imo
The reward is the free cooking XP you get. You don't lose any money vs selling them raw, you get the money for the energy (battery price), and you even get some more on-top. But the main reward is that, with all this combined, you get cooking XP for no expenditure.

But once you reach a level that far surpasses this, the reward is null. It's only really giving a benefit for a few hours at most

Then feel free to only do it to compact the size in your inventory from 15 to 1, or don't do it at all.
Your choice at the end of the day, but there are other benefits in this world other than money.

There is, but I still think it would be nice to buff the reward slightly so it feels like your time was actual worth being spent on doing it, rather than it being a momentary advantage. Not everybody is going to want to level cooking, giving it more of a reward would incentive people to explore more than their usual habits while playing the server

Edibles are inefficient from a production POV, seems fairly realistic.

While i get the idea of you gain free cooking xp and the extra money covers the battery cost of the stove ect ect, its not rewarding for the time put in. i feel the way doctor internet said "feel free to only do it to compact the size in your inventory from 15 to 1, or don't do it at all." is just an extremely poor way to view it. With that view were just going to get more and more items on the server bloating up crafting menus that are rarely used because of a "well dont use it then if you dont think its useful" mindset.

even just increasing the price from 7600 to 8000 could push more players to learn different aspects of the server like levelling cooking while they grind to be able to make brownies. if theres a big benefit towards working towards something people try new things. currently ive barely touched the cooking aspect purely because i can buy a stove, plonk it down, fish for 30 minutes and cook the fish and now im stocked for 2 days. if there were extra benefits to it outside of some special foods like appealing to the criminal side with the brownies people would be pushed more into exploring the other mechanics like cooking.
Approved.
