Explain your suggestion, in detail:
When arrested by police, any weapon you have on you should confiscated.

Explain why the suggestion should be implemented:
This will both help a little with the Economy, allow for more gundealer-related interactions and give more of a reason to be afraid of gun conflicts.
Thank you for your suggestion, Dick!

It will take a while for it to be reviewed by our staff-members.
Meanwhile, expect some nice feedback from our community.
Yes and no
I think the best way would be if you recently had the gun in your hand then you lose all due to being armed,
however if you don't recently have the gun in hand, so most likely an arrest for other reasons, you get to keep you stuff
the having weapon in hand will be the check done, but will then apply to all relevant equipment
If I recall correctly, arrested players were allowed to keep their weapons for 2 reasons-
1: It provided some protection for players arrested by minge cops
2: It incentivized peaceful resolutions over shootouts; If you were guaranteed to lose guns on arrest, or had a chance of shooting your way out, the thinking was that most people would take the chance, and if they failed, they didn't lose anything they wouldn't have lost anyways.

I still think those are very valid reasons, and due to that, I will have to say

This. People were also just unplugging their ethernet cable en masse to avoid losing expensive guns like the M249.

Perhaps an option for the officer to confiscate the weapon, as some presidents may set laws which may permit weapon possession.

Ultimately, if you’re equipping a weapon, you’re doing so at your own risk and if police search you or you get arrested (and you aren’t meant to have it) then you lose it.

As Stomm said, this would definitely just incentivise people to try and shoot their way out, which isn't what we want
