Suggestion:
Convert (1) of the map stores into a General Market where users can purchase item(s); these are essential items and they will be removed from the F1-menu.
Description:
Creation of a physical store to sell some in-game items encourages RP interaction. This store will be small, and its shelves will populated with world props of items that are sold there as well as an NPC to interact with. The following items will be able to be purchased here:
Why:
Realism, believe it is also a neat feature that can promote player-to-player encounters that will in return incite conversation and/or RP. Additionally, I think we should start reducing our dependence on an F1-Menu and instead push for updates that encourage you to go & walk around town. The items described above do not need to be limited to certain service jobs and changing how they are acquired will not reduce the need for said service jobs.
Fishing rod(s) are essential to catch food and not be required to live off a vending machine when a chef is not online. When a chef is online, and you're unable to contact them, you are essentially left to your own devices to figure out how to survive without a vending machine nor the required person to distribute food to you.
I believe a very standard form of pistol ammunition should be able to be purchased from the general store. The ammunition type should be that of pistols that are the least powerful. This is to allow users, especially during low-populations, to be able to acquire the necessary ammunition for a weapon that is purchased for their own protection. This is not going to impact GD sales significantly and the benefit to the overall population would be beneficial. Standard melee weapons should also not be required to be purchased from a GD considering that this is not normal. Anyone can buy those items from a store.
