Yes we do, I either have mine in my pocket or around my neck.

‍ May be able to say how American EMS handle stephs but over in the UK we do

Depends if they want to show off their steth, the day I got my Littman classic III I couldn't take it off 

However yes, in the UK at least we all have our own steth and as Apollo said we'd have it around our neck or in the side pocket of ya trousers.

Never seen that here. Atleast when they are walking around or driving

Even the majority of RAMC wear them all the time.

I think possibly making it another set of clothing for Governmental Paramedics to wear instead of replacing. It allows for more diverse roleplay and allows the player to suit what clothing resembles them.
