Explain your suggestion, in detail: Add a simple pinboard to the Nexus (ground floor maybe, close to the elevator) which displays the SOP’s for the Police Force. The Chief should be able to edit it, normal Officers can only view it.

Explain why the suggestion should be implemented: SOP’s add a lot to the seriousness of PoliceRP, which is why they are so important. Currently, there is only one official way of receiving those SOP’s: asking the Chief via radio. Yes, asking the Chief via radio basically means player interaction, but often the Chief is either unable to respond for a certain time or just overreads/ misunderstands your requests. Sending the same SOP’s 5 times within 5 minutes cause players switch jobs all the time etc. is probably also a bit annoying. This is why such a board could be quite cool as this would allow the Officers to view the SOP’s even when the Chief does not transmit them. One could still ask the Chief however though, it is up to the player itself, which means that player interaction doesn’t have to go down.

In real life those SOP’s would also be documented somewhere obviously, so this should make quite some sense RP wise as well.

Implementation should also be quite easy as it’s basically just an editable and viewable board, I think there are already some nice models one could use for that one.
Neutral

You can already make one with the interactive screen, I have a few images saved in an online album with my SOPs and examples.
You have it, but the general public doesn’t. Even though it wouldn’t be hard to make, most of the people would use such a system more often.

In the end this isn’t something world-changing, just a small feature that would improve one or two aspects.

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't there a REP requirement for interactive screens? I think this'd be a happy medium for the people who don't have the REPs for this and that'd like to enhance their roleplay further.
Could you not just make a note that has the SOP on it? That's what I used to do.
I think notes tend to just fall down and thus can be taken away by anyone, a permanent board would prevent this + if done correctly, such a board would look better and just add something.

I mean as Stomm and you already mentioned, there are ways to do this already, but a more elegant way would be through such a board, at least in my opinion. Also more people would use such a board to note down the SOP‘s instead of placing either an interactive screen or a note (to be honest, almost never see this happening).

They’re a bit small and can be awkward to place neatly within eyeline
Could be a cool feature - perhaps as an addition to the /policedb instead of a nexus pinboard (Maybe easier to implement idk). This woul also allow for a mobile access.

Just use /note. /note is perfectly fine and you can even change the model to make it look more the part. That's what I usually do.
-support, this is unnecessary. Don't make develop team overwhelmed.
It shouldn’t be a hard thing to add, it’s basically like adding a permanent prop to the world which has the note function (preferably like the note with more width for the text field?).

Also regarding the notes, not everybody uses them. As I said, it is more a quality of life addition, not so much a game-changing one. I don’t think every addition to the server has to be a game-changing one, it would just be a small and nice feature.

Would rather see a misc. notes tab of the PD DB that allows for notes on people, SOP's, requests, etc. This way it's not limited to one thing and allows for more opportunities to share information.
