HWAT: This is a 3 part suggestion-
[1]: Take the current "Doctor" job and rename it to pharmacist.
[2]: Add a new Doctor job and give them a healing ability. They wouldn't have emergency goo like paramedics, but would be able to heal any and all injuries, including revival. In order to keep them from acting like Paramedics, require equipment (in the form of placeable items, like the laboratories) to be close by- have 1 item required for treatment, and additional items will help speed up the time treatment takes. This will allow players to set up their own practices anywhere on the map, and be able to provide a level of help appropriate for the look of their building.
[3]: Put the hospital to use. Allow anyone with any amount of injury to be healed automatically at the hospital. This would occur slower than if a Doctor with basic gear was present. If a Doctor is present at the hospital to treat them, it would be slightly faster than if a Doctor had their own fully equipped room for treatment. Additionally, whenever a gunshot wound victim seeks treatment at the hospital, a quick text is sent to the Government to alert them.
Why: The overall goal is to increase realism and provide alternative options for treatment and healing.
[1]: The current Doctor job only has the ability to give out drugs right now, making them just a Pharmacist with a fancy title.
[2]: This would allow people to better RP as actual doctors without resorting to hogging a paramedic slot or not actually being able to do anything. The required equipment would cut down on people just playing as Doctor and hauling ass to emergency calls instead of a Paramedic. If a Doctor does stumble across a scene before Paramedics arrive, an ability to stabilize patients until Paramedics arrive would strike a balance between the Doctor being kinda useless, and making the Paramedics redundant.
[3]: This would provide a way to heal people with horrific injuries without Doctors/Paramedics available. The catch, though, is that someone will have to bring them to the hospital. It'd be a long and boring healing process, but they'd live.
