Idea: Add more details to the weed system.
Drying and cutting of the weed. The weed needs a dedicated drying rack and drying takes 10 minutes. You then need to turn the dried weed into crumbled leaves and put it into plastic bags you buy from the miscellaneous section.
Charge on the UV light. You can either spend money on batteries to get 1 hour’s charge or buy a generator which makes a racket but it cheaper in the long run.
Watering of weed plants. You need to fill up bottles of water to use to water the plants, else they’ll die and it’s a lost investment. You can also buy larger tanks of water for more money to reduce the amount of trips to the lake you take. A pipe system could be set up however it is a major vulnerability and could be cut at any time, in exchange for automatically filling water tanks.
Fertiliser for the plants. The soil needs to be fertilised every couple of cycles, else you will start receiving a lower and lower yield until eventually the plant dies halfway through the cycle.
Air conditioning. Add a system where the plants need to be in a warm environment (in the radius of a heater) else they’ll die or have stunted growth. This can be avoided by having the plants without a roof on top however this opens up security risks etc.
Why?: Currently, weed is far too easy to farm and is part of the reason the economy is spoiled. Adding more stages would encourage more player interaction due to the sheer amount of equipment you need to buy, and would allow for some more interesting gameplay. It would also increase the investment and risk of weed, and police would have more of a chance of knowing who is growing weed and whether to surveil people who are showing signs of growing weed.
