The mistake is on your side. Instead of contacting me about the demotion, you directly started a mission of chaos. Of course some police officers will try to fire at the vehicle. But that did not happen in the first 5-10 minutes of your havoc where I was still present (something which is in no way threatening to you as you're sitting in a bulletproof bearcat).

As a citizen, you simply should've pulled over.

The shots being fired is only not threatening to me BECAUSE i'm in a bulletproof bearcat. If I had gotten out then they would be a threat to me.

The police could most definitely be bothered with me. We had a long pursuit with almost every officer on the force as well as SWAT. With co-ordination they could have brought me down easily.

This situation could have been avoided if I wasn't demoted while still having access to military grade hardware.

as a former Teacher you're well aware of how the server works and how things are being handled by both players and staff alike.

You know exactly that getting out of the SWAT Van whilst being a citizen after a demotion would lead to you not being able to use it anymore. This is somewhat exploit-ish. You're trying to go around a game mechanic with that.
Also the chat logs with Nemesis show me, that your intentions were malicious.

Driving around for AGES even after the police long stopped to chase you, ramming civilians and police alike, taunting them, trying to get them into a chase, is not only police baiting but also fail RP out of the book. You know that and you should know better on how to handle such situations.

Would it have been exploit-ish to unlock it and have Nemesis drive it? What about giving him keys or clan access from the F2 menu?

Could you post the chat logs showing my intent was malicious? I was on Voice with Nemesis so I find it odd that I would be talking to him via text chat.

When Police had ceased to pursue us and we were sure we weren't being tailed we headed to the lake to make our escape, at which point the other SWAT van was waiting for us and our vehicle was then despawned by an admin. The only civilian I rammed intentionally was one Black Grand Caravan, purely because he was pursuing me with a loaded firearm.

I'm sure you can imagine that trying to lose 4 cops when the car you are driving is maxed out at 30ish mph can take quite a while, even more so as it seems that vehicle damage was broken at the time, thus allowing the cops to pursue us without wrecking out on the numerous occasions that they crashed.

I certainly wasn't going to risk driving up the hill, out of the city, where I could easily be stopped due to the low speed when climbing a steep slope.

The only officer I "Taunted" was Nudel, as he was the one responsible for my demotion and I wanted him to know that it was his fault his city was going to be dropped into chaos.

Any other time I turned on the siren was an attempt to confuse the officers between which SWAT van had the actual SWAT in it and which one had us in it, which worked on 2 occasions allowing us to refuel twice.

I would also like to point out again that 4 staff members were online during this pursuit and not a single one of them had an issue with it that was brought to my attention.

Okay. After reviewing this again and having a discussion with the staff team, we came to the following conclusion:


You were well aware of what you've done is FailRP at least. The fact that you continued your rampage for so long, even after the police long stopped to chase you and you could've made an escape easily in that time.

You're trying to find excuses for your actions and keep digging yourself even further into it. NO, letting Nemesis drive by giving him access would still be Fail RP aswell as an exploit, as you simply don't let a citizen drive a tactical SWAT vehicle and go around the game mechanic of it being deleted automatically if you rejoin it.

Saying "Staff was online but they didn't do anything, so that means I didn't break a rule" is like saying "I robbed a bank and the police was not there. So I didn't break the law." (-Welker, 2019)

Saying "The police could've easily stopped me by boxing me in and using the ASP baton" is also invalid. First of all, it is nearly if not completely impossible to box a SWAT Van in, as it is the strongest vehicle in game.

Second thing is, that this still doesn't justify your action. In this case it's like you're getting a gun out, shoot everyone and RDM and then say "But the police could've easily stopped me by shooting me." - Yes, they could've. But you're still breaking the rules. Someone CDMs you? You could've easily stopped him somehow. But this doesn't make it less of a rule break.

You're a former Teacher with an extremely high playtime on this server. You've been cought to bend the rules multiple times and try to get everything in your favour.

You should be (and are) well aware of what kind of image that prints into newer people's heads when they see someone driving around in a SWAT Van and causing havoc like that.

With that being said, I've decided to issue a 2 day suspension aswell as a 3 hour blacklist for both SWAT and vehicles for the following reasons:

1.1 - Abusing a game mechanic. (Bypassing the inability to drive a vehicle when demoted to cause havoc with it)
3.3 - Fail RP
13.5 - Baiting the police

With your experience here, I - aswell as everyone else on the server - expects you to know way better.
