Explain your suggestion, in detail:
In a nutshell, my suggestion is to allow members of staff grant users access to the wheel tool for a specified amount of time. Of course, the player would have to specify a valid reason for asking, and the player should be trusted (50+ hours and not 5 minutes, etc.) and not have too many priors of abuse and such, in which case you can either deny them or allow them but keep an eye on them.
The fact of the matter is, I've been pulling hair out of my brain trying to get the motor tool to work for wheels, and it just doesn't. Ever.
It's a broken piece of crap and you can never do anything right with it, hence where the wheel tool comes in.
There's not really too much minge that you can do with the wheel tool (certainly a lot less than weight tool and a big prop), and I think it would ease our building experience and allow us to build things like bicycles (which is what I tried and failed to make with motor tool) and vehicles to sell. These kinds of RPs, I think, would be great. Perhaps you could make a Rent-a-Bike shop or something, who knows!

I'm not saying let everyone have access to this tool, but perhaps allow admins to give access as they see fit.
You can use the motor tool and achieve the same (?)

Another point though. If we can make wheels already with the motor tool, why not just give us the actual wheel tool? The custom vehicle rule will still exist, just now we'll have an extra tool for builds.

The wheel tool is one hell of a pain in the ass, as explained in my post...

If you put the wheel on in one direction, it spins completely the wrong way. Plus, if you put any weight on it when it's vertically mounted and try to start it, it won't start whatsoever; it breaks the space-time continuum half the time and causes me to lose my hair.

Try making a 4 wheeled vehicle and try to move it well and you'll see what I mean.

That's a very good point, actually. God knows why the developers don't allow it. They could just blacklist certain props and prevent the torque from being set insanely high and we'd be good. Plus, the wheel tool is more reliable and a lot easier to use than a motor constraint, since motors are prone to stopping and never moving again until you move them manually.
Bump.

good idea i can rpee with this

Has potential to increase roleplay depth and potential along with some awesome new builds.

Because it's not up to us...

Sorry, meant to say the administration.

...That makes it sound like we're being run by Wallace Breen, doesn't it?
