Explain your suggestion, in detail:
Add character slots to the server. Upon connecting & spawning to the server you're prompted to select one of (number? would love some ideas) 3-5 characters with name and descriptions saved to each one.
Example;
Select character
Alistair Hightower - Tall, dark & handsome
John Smith - Short, pale & ugly
James Jamerson - Medium, average
Quote:Could take it a step further and have it remember the last model you used and automatically apply that upon spawn (obviously not for non-standard clothing like stolen uniforms). - Pollux
Explain why the suggestion should be implemented:
Convenience, easier character management. Ability to more easily keep character separate for example, Gov RP, Clan RP, Civ RP characters may want to be kept separate however can be annoying to manage and easy to forget. Encourages character development

I like to play both Clan and Gov RP, this would make things a lot easier.
Sounds great. Why not!

+Support, As long as you can change character w/o having to relog
Alistair Hightower - Tall, dark & "handsome" Pppft.

would be useful if i had a female character and i want to change: BAM! gender exchange
or just want to pick your govrp guy? BAM! done in a blitzkrieg
welker is smart
Would different characters allowed to be in different clans? What about inventory and wallet, would they be split or shared?
+Support regardless.

All the above would best be shared imo, just an easy way to save your characters and switch between them. I don't think having different clans and inventory would even be possible

I don't know why these suggestions keep getting denied. This would honestly take the hassle out of changing my description constantly, especially since with no job titles descriptions have become an important part of ID'ing someone's job.

Would be great to differentiate between characters for more diverse RP!

Think a system like this ^ is what can bring LL into the new-age and regain interest from those that believe the game mode isn’t as fulfilling as it could be.
If the character slots you want are just a change of the name then I don’t think that’s necessary.

A system like that would be great. But currently seems like it would be a very extensive update to make and would be unfeasible at this time due to lack of development resources, as you can see on the development road map, a great deal of work is being invested into the skills & crafting.
For the time being I feel the suggestion I wrote would suffice as an excellent starting point for potentially more things to come. Small steps, it can't all be done at once
So it's pretty much different saved names and descriptions which you can load in?
Could take it a step further and have it remember the last model you used and automatically apply that upon spawn (obviously not for non-standard clothing like stolen uniforms).
