Suggestion:
Holster will remove the weapon from your hand, as it does currently, but after being searched you will be found with, “a holstered _____” but this won’t happen after you utilize /disarm
Reasons:
Prevents FailRP/Abuse in situations where someone might have committed a crime and then holstered to avoid RP; Makes it more practical to hide weapons by using the /drop feature and ditching a gun in a bush during a pursuit or hiding it at home during a search.
But then you have the issue of people somehow holstering snipers in T-shirts

If I am reading the suggestion right, holster just puts away the weapon, which I guess saves it from dropping on death, people wouldn't be able to shoot at you, hide, wait 10 seconds and poof there is no proof of him firing a weapon.

I dont think it saves upon death, it just makes it a non usable, but hidden weapon that can still be found during a search, while disarming is removing the loss of the weapon entirely. As right now if people are afraid a gun will be found or lost they just /holster which takes 5-10s, instead of disarming which takes 45.
Am i correct?
As soon as you use /holster right now - the weapon is in your inventory and unable to be found in a search.
I think this is abused time and time again in situations where someone gets into a shootout and runs around a corner to quickly put their weapon(s) away to avoid being tied to the situation.
I think /holster should still put the weapon away, but should still RP'ly show that you have it on your character until you utilize the /disarm command that takes far longer.

When you explain it like that

Only thing I could think of to improve would be that after maybe 10-15 mins it would actually holster it.
