Explain your suggestion, in detail:
Currently, the elevator tool supports two inputs: start & return. These inputs can be the same.
I'm proposing a third input: 'lockdown' or 'emergency return' or just 'alternate return'.
Also, an option on the alternate input would be to be for start or return (In case someone has a dupe where elevators are set up backward).
Explain why the suggestion should be implemented:
There's quite a few use cases for this.
Many facilities have a few entrances that use elevators as doors with different keys for each door for obvious reasons.
Many people also use elevators as emergency shutters on windows but also might have emergency doors as well that could be on different inputs.
Currently, if the doors are on different inputs you would have to manually press a keypad or a button for each.
A third input could be used for one button/keypad to close all doors quickly.

Lol i was blowing at your signature
I’m assumimg this could just work as another stop on the elevator say for a middle floor?
+Support regardless.
I normally have my elevators on serperate keys, then maybe duplicate all elevators on another key.
They still work even if they are collided I think
WindowShutter 1 = Key 5
WindowShutter 2 = Key 6
WindowShutter 3 = Key 7
All Shutters = Key 8
So if you think about it, if the elevator isn't visible when open, you could dupe it, the only thing is wasted props, which would only be the amount of doors/shutters you have x 2

If that is possible then +support
Otherwise lockdown mechanisms can very well be done without alternate imputs in wich im not convinced we'd need the tool to specificaly do the action

If I have doors on 8 and 9, and windows on 5 and 6, how could that be implemented?

A separate shutter on 1 2 and 3 4, or just use the same key for both lockdown and unlockdown, you dont need to set separate keys for both opening and closing

Quote:...and there must be at least 2 metres (2PHX length) between two doors. All custom doors must be openable by keypad or buttons from both sides, which should be clearly visible.
Buttons for different levels k thx
