Full Version: Small Getting Revived Thingy

Idea: Make it so when you are revived you equip your hands/keys as opposed to what you were holding before you died

Why?: As I just experienced, if you were fighting and get revived, you're holding your gun. The issue is that you often get arrested for "Open Carry" when it happens near PD. It just slows down or completely halts an ongoing RP.

It falls on the person detaining the subject to disarm them via handcuffs before they’re revived. Yes there is a chance IRL that if paralyed or neutralized tht the weapon will fall, however, if you look up videos of examples, they clearly show they are either still in the subject’s hand or close enough to grab. That’s why officers approch with caution and remove the weapon before detaining and administering aid.

Regardless of what you have on your person, if you get injured, you will have your firearm on your hands, it seems stupid.

In a roleplay situation, if you get injured enough to be temporarily "paralyzed", you wouldn't really get up with a firearm on your hands, its more likely it would fall on from you.

I've had some times where I'm in a gun fight with Police and EMS heal me before cops get then chance to handcuff me and it puts me in a situation where i have to carry on shooting them as if i don't they're gonna shoot me as Im gonna get up with a gun in my hands. So i do agree on when you wake up you should have your Hands out and not whatever you were previously Holding. Smile
I don't see a point for this now that ragdoll shows what you have in your hands when you died. Meaning that if the cops don't see a gun before reviving you they need to chill anyways

If anything. Make it so you spawn with what you have selected. Not always hands

I personally think from a roleplay point of view it would be beneficial that this change was made.
Approved.
