The Marion County Sheriff's Office is comprised of the Patrol Division, Tactical Division and Criminal Investigation. Each division has various assigned units.

The citizens of Marion County expect, and rightfully so, that their Sheriff’s Office and the administration which supervises the exercise of law enforcement authority, be fair and just in their delivery of service to all citizens. In order to meet the expectations of Marion County citizens and to instill a sense of fairness and openness, procedures for investigating and resolving all complaints and allegations of misconduct or lack of performance are mandated.

Our aim is to ensure a safe environment for the citizens of Marion County. An environment in which our citizens are not afraid to walk on street at night, or speak to strangers. We try to reach this goal with effective punishments aimed to deter criminal behaviour and by involving our officers in socialising with the community.

Become a Cop when I am RPing as Sheriff... Promotions are handled by performance in the field. This is just PD with permaranks
It is with great Sadness that I, Sheriff Christopher Gray announce the passing of one of our MCSO Officers

At 06-01-2019 around 8.30pm to 9.00pm Sheriff Stephen 'Jeremy' Lozano took his own life.

Sheriff Lozano was born 02-12-2000 and was 18 at the time of his passing. He became a Sheriff roughly 3 months before his death.

Sheriff Lozano dedicated his career to helping those who were young and troubled. Trying to get them back on the right path and making sure they can be functioning citizens of our County. In the last few weeks of his life he was setting up a Youth Help Program with personal funding and MCSO funding together with his Staff.

Even though we can't release specifics about what caused Sheriff Lozano to consider this the only way out. It seems as though his passion to help those troubled got the better of him.

Rest in Peace Sheriff Stephen 'Jeremy' Lozano. May your soul rest untill eternity.
feel bad for ya m8
I can confirm, as the onsite Coroner that Mr Lozano was declared dead at 20.44Pm at his home.

He was buried in the local graveyard after a simple examination to ensure of no foul play.

Regarding posts on this forum about Sheriff Lozano

Please keep your distasteful and disrespectful comments off of our MCSO Post. We request that you show more respect on a post like this regarding the passing of our previous commander in charge Sheriff. Lozano.

If you are incapable of being respectful we request that you refrain from commenting on posts like these. It is disrespectful to the officers, friends and family that were around him.

Yours,

MCSO ANNOUNCEMENT

We have officially opened up our applications for the Investigations Department and for Front Desk Duties!
Please understand that without applying to the Investigations Division you will not be able to go Detective when out in the field.
Only people that have applied and have been accepted will be allowed to roll as an Investigations Unit.

If an application is CLOSED - we will not review your application. No matter how good it is, we will not look at them.
See you out in the field Officer!

We are aware that the Front Desk Clerk application thing is broken right now, we are trying to fix it EDIT: FIXED

As for you "Crackhead Dave" (  )

We here at the sheriff's office are glad to hear that your intentions are to have a "passive alliance" with us. We are however gonna have to sadly decline your offer. As a sheriff's office we don't have "alliances" apart from other Government Agencies.

We also advise you to pay attention to the laws when you are smoking your pot, as it depending on laws at that time can be illegal. We don't wanna see you in our jail cells now do we! We'll try to do our best together to keep you out of those cuffs, however I don't suggest offering us money for it. That would be bribery of an LEO

Now that Lozano has passed, he once again looks to follow the footsteps of a Lozano by taking over the MCSO just like he took over the ECPD
