This might be a good place to ask

I need a smart watch, has to work with Android, and be fairly rugged.

I'm not worried about it being the latest thing as long as it gets emails and calls and has a battery that lasts at least 24hours

Suggestions?
Lol, smart watch. Just use your phone for all that email nonsense and get a proper timepiece.

I have a proper timepiece and a phone, but my work often means I'm away from home and doing a lot of things which could damage my normal one. As I have to be able to answer the phone to clients etc a smart watch would be very useful to aid my productivity on the go.

Also would be cool to have some of the fitness tracking aspects just for curiosity
‍  is a fitbit good for what ur looking for?
lets face it doods no one beats my watch
Stop arguing.
Post about watches.

You've all been told already.
Stop.
I have two of these babies.

Casio F-91W's.

Water resist up to 50m for one.
And I think 10m for the other?

It tells the time, and has a stopwatch.
What more could you need?
Casio makes some good shit. But I'd rather have a proper analogue chronograph from Casio such as the G-Shock series

G-Shock MTG-B1000D-1AER
I used to have a little green camo one when I was 8, had a little helicopter on a clear disc as the second hand. Stretchy camo wrist strap and toothpaste on the 12

My watch can tell the time, record me pooping and read me a story.

Try googling about FitBit i heard about it countless times but I never owned one or saw one in person but it seems to be a popular brand !
FitBits are mostly made for exercising, counting steps, etc. ‍. They’re rugged, byt don’t take emails, text, calls, etc.
Hmmm, thank you for the suggestions everyone lots to consider here 🤔
