Explain your suggestion, in detail: Allow swat to change their SWAT livery to a BLANK Livery. Just like Unmarked Police Officers can chose to make their Vehicle Livery Blank rather than showing their Department Livery

Explain why the suggestion should be implemented:

This allows people to RP other things than SWAT. I have seen plenty of SWAT Teams across the last few days that are simply Tactical Officers that fall under that Police Departments chief.

The only way currently to remove the SWAT is to get a mechanic to make your vehicle a certain color and remove the skin, However if no mechanic is on that already removes this ability. Meaning you would have to get an admin. Simply allow us to do the same as police

C -> Right click -> Liveries -> SWAT or Blank

SWAT will never be able to patrol unless in dire situations such as Martial Law or a manhunt.

Staff has gone on record to say that Police Chief is allowed to make SWAT a Tactical Officers unit that is allowed to Patrol. And it has happened multiple times with staff on recently that SWAT has done exactly that.
+support basically what Soviet said.

But not for this

In certain situations. If they said anything else they’d be ignoring their own rules and the job’s actually description. SWAT are not for patrolling. They are for situations that involve high stakes situations that patrol officers either can’t deal with, or need assistance with.

That's Staffs problem then, they didn't specify specific situations and said it's fine.
Either way, mostly this reason is because it still means that if you do anything else than SWAT RP it automatically makes it look a bit stupid. The Patrolling thing was only an example.

+support. Now-a-days you don't see tactical units responding with a whole bunch of livery across their vehicle anymore anyways. The only time you really see that happening are on vans/trucks or things like Bearcats or so.

Also keep in mind that SWAT as a default still are LEOs, therefor, it is not entirely weird for a Chief/Sheriff to appoint the members in a SWAT team to rather be tactical officers/deputies and to have them patrol high-risk areas or to act as a backbone to the regular police department/sheriff's office.

I never had any issues with SWAT patrolling (as there's nothing in the rules regarding it anymore either, unlike back at EvoCity) as long as it's within roleplay guidelines. You wouldn't see Sours' ''Nuclear Biological Chemical, blablabla'' force patrolling around for aforementioned reasons, but to have tactical officers/deputies appointed to their resp. departments, is definitely not out of place.
Pushing for Staff Review.
