Explain your suggestion, in detail: Have the crowbar have certain chance maybe 1/10 of breaking open doors like a shotgun would. maybe with a loud noise of door break of something to attract strangers
Explain why the suggestion should be implemented: just makes sence for crowbars to pry open doors
+support, maybe with cars too?

Multiple reasons.
1: Crowbar is a cheap melee weapon
2: Lockpick is a crowbar to open doors with
Better solution, completely review and update the entire melee selection as it is complete garbage. Fist outclass about 3 of them.

Picking a lock doesn’t blow the doors off it’s hinges

there is a quite big difference between a lockpick and a crowbar, just because they use the same model ingame dosent mean its the same thing
and yes crowbars do throw the door off the hinges
i dont think you undestand the suggestion pal

1. Crowbar would have 1/10 with a really loud and distinct noise when people try to break the door open
2. Just because lockpicks and crowbars use the same game model it does not make it the same thing, make some research please.

a crowbar simply does not take the door off the hinges. You use a crowbar by prying open the door from the lock side. If you attempted to pry from the hinge side, there would not be enough space to use the tool correctly. A crowbar compromises the lock, not the hinges.

working myself at demolition area for 2+ months, we did indeed pry open doors, and if you were to pry open door from the lock side the hinges would still be attached and the door wont really come off, if you slide the flat side from top of the hinge then then pull towards you the hinge comes off.
Edit:
read the above please

My apologies for misinterpreting, but prying a door open still won’t bust it off it’s hinges. It would have the same effect as kicking it in. The door would swing open.

Perhaps if you right click a door when using a crowbar, a small bar will appear like lockpicking. Except it is much quicker and much louder and, as you said, has a small chance of forcing the door open. There could also be a chance of the crowbar breaking.
Much quicker, louder, cheaper too. Why not give out godmode?

Most crowbars are made to withstand prying open doors.
