Explain your suggestion: Remove the scrap electronics requirement to create a paint bomb.

Explain why your suggestion should be implemented: They are almost never used, in fact I have never seen them used since they were implemented apart from the one time when me and Vimpto crafted one to see what it does. I believe they are never used because it is so difficult to obtain scrap electronics, and so expensive to buy them. If we remove the need for electronics during crafting, we may actually see paint bomb usage during heists and raids, as whilst they will still cost a bit (around $1000 - $2000 per one I think, I have not checked), they will not be outrageous in price.

I understand it does not make the most sense from a realistic standpoint, but I would rather seem them viable then realistic.
The whole point of these schematics is to reward players wiht a unique item that can only be created wiht a few bought items andother that require scavenging. Granted, some are too easy for what they are (Ex. M249), but I’d rather see these items rarely instead of commonly.

im not saying to simplify it, im saying to buff the acctual smoke
since the whole smokebomb deal is just a quick 5 second green fart that SLOWLY cuts off your oxygen

no for this, yes for a buff

I mean, it doesnt really make sense for these to be a rare item in the first place, go to homehardware, buy spray paint, tape down sprayer, throw can at target.

Molotovs are about as common as they should be due to how easy it is to make them and they kill people and destroy props, yet spray paint smoke bombs that dont kill people and just obscure line of sight are the line we draw?

If anything they shouldn't even be "Spray paint" Because what people actualy do to make these is still very simple, but just requires a bit of chemistry know how you could obtain online, and civilian available resources.

The paint being dispensed from the spray can is actually to heavy to provide a proper "smoke" cover as the solids begin to harden and weigh the particles down as soon as they leave the can.

So what we have on the server is an item that actually makes little sense in any aspect, in both how it functions, and how to craft it.

They are as simple to make as a molotov cocktail, and thus should be about as easy to acquire as one

dont tell me the guy from the video dosent look like a BMD

the funcionality in the server should be buffed purely for balancing purpouses, its a game afterall

Didn't even know these existed.

The video i posted kind of makes me wana actualy make one, it seems fairly simple with a distinct lack of "Not going to explode and burn my house down"

I disagree with this, the M249 is already easy to produce and obtain, why would we then arbitrarily make something as simple to produce as a smokebomb harder to obtain than the gun?

I agree the M249 should be more difficult to construct, but that is more in terms of cost, not arbitration.

Its a smoke bomb, its not rare, and its not hard to produce.

On a second though, i mentioned smokebombs beeing just 1 quick fart that cuts off oxygen, if you throw 3 of these in a slums apartment it could really be a good show innit, so wso would make em easier to produce would give those farts atleast some usage

I feel they shouldnt drain oxygen at all, they are not lethal, yea you'll probably cough while in a cloud of smoke like this, but you are not really at risk of dying unless you sleep in a room full of it and even that's iffy.

Your still breathing in the air you need to survive while in a cloud like this, its just now your also breathing in tons of unhealthy particles, so two situations could occur:

Spend hours in the cloud and maybe become lightheaded and pass out

Spend hours in the cloud and develop a lung issue 20 years later

They drain stamina and oxygen so that they can be an effective counter to the ballistic shield, for balance reasons.
