Yea. Cuz if they hand them out like candy the server FPS would go to shit.

A light would not contribute to rp, and if it did then it would be minuscule. Non-donors and people with no/low REP need things adding too; not everything should only be given to donors and people with rep. I only made this suggestion so I could see in dark places. In which case, I've changed my suggestion instead so it applies to everyone.

If a light won’t contribute to RP, I guess it shouldn’t be accessible on a RP Server.

Dear Rydolph

Please dont edit the entire point of the threat that got supported by community and overplace it with an idea that only suits you, thus reconstructing the whole suggestion, please create a new suggestion for this and dont MISSUSE +supports you got for your old idea.

"If a light won’t contribute to RP, I guess it shouldn’t be accessible on a RP Server. -Support to the new suggestion"

"The entire point of the thread," nor the "whole suggestion topic" was not changed. In the future, please read the "Explain why the suggestion should be implemented" part as that quite clearly states that the suggestion had nothing to do with rp, but more on gameplay quality.

"There are many dark areas in the map, many of which are indoors. It is very annoying having to use my flashlight all of the time which only lights up a small portion of the room at one time."

The suggestion is intended to fix unrealistically dark areas on the map. Nothing was misused, you just interpreted my suggestion incorrectly. Armand says that this suggestion only suits me but I beg to differ: The new suggestion ensures that it gets my point across as it has the same outcome as the old one, only this way it will maintain FPS, and not just be accessible to those with rep because they want to seem almost dominant to other players; Therefore, it does not "only suit" me - do not paint me in a bad image, thanks. The suggestion has the same outcome, so it's disappointing to see that for some reason some of you have changed to -support.
I still support this suggestion

The base suggestion that you have suggested is to add lamps that could be spawned by players, people liked the idea but with a rep lock, since you are unable to roleplay properly to earn said rep you felt like its impossible to get one, thus you changed the post's suggestion to fit you, and Adding more permanent lights will have bigger fps inpact than few Rep lights across the city.

what areas do you believe are dark?

Quote:Haven't been on the server in a while so I can't remember as to which places I was referring to, but here are a few places I spotted after checking today:
Rooms inside the Beach houses seem unrealistically dark - you'd expect a lot of natural light considering they have huge windows.
Movies aren't being watched in the lobby of the cinema so I'm not quite sure why it's that dark.
Richard Drive houses are weirdly lit - these houses too have a few huge windows. One moment you're looking in a dark room, the next you're blinded by the light of the bathroom (worst being 3 Richard Drive - dark kitchen, blinding bathroom).
