The Superchargers aren't for private use.

What we need is....
1) Supercharger speed reduced so there is actually a downside for electric cars, and give people a reason to park and charge.
2) A placeable "fast charger" that can only be placed in certain civilized areas (to prevent just being plopped anywhere to use for a quick charge, then picked up and off they go) that charges at half the speed of the Superchargers.
3) Basically a long ass cord. Works almost everywhere that isn't the middle of nowhere, but charges really slow.

At Home Most Tesla Owners Use Some Sort Of Private Charge Port As "3" Might Be A Good One For This But For Players To By For There Home

Actually, #2 is what I was going for for the home charger. It requires having your garage (or wherever) wired for 220, but it's a helluva lot better than using the same outlet you charge your phone with.

I'd make the Tesla home charger like 100k or some shit and make it an unlimited item but only able to get one out.

I'd say make it charge much slower than the ones around the map. For balancing .
