I feel there should further roleplay requirements of police, as currently the system is heavily unbalanced.
My suggestion is that police would have to "book" someone into custody manual instead of using the arrest baton.
The way this could work is that the "suspect" is brought to the PD desk and then transferred into custody, and that they need to be signed into via either their name or a prefix.
***Edit to further distance my suggestion from that previously suggested***
The officer would bring a person into custody and would have to interact with an NPC, and book the suspect in via an interactive menu that would either allow them to select an active warrant, or create a new one. (For example on the menu it may say "John Doe [ID] , Warrant: Breaking and entering".
I feel this would encourage a healthier police RP on the server as currently it is too easy for Police to arrest people, there is no consequence on their end for teleporting someone to prison for 15 minutes just because.
By putting a formal and mildly time consuming system in place the police are less likely to be inclined to arrest everyone, for every offence (Which translates better into reality and further improves the quality of roleplay).

From over two years ago with the particular part in question not being implemented.
It doesn't matter how old it is, it will be added eventually. Creating duplicates won't make it get implement any quicker.

I suspect it has been overlooked considering the time (Not that I was aware this suggestion existed when I made this one) Unless Doctor Internet or someone can confirm this has been on the agenda for two years.

I'm not saying you're wrong, but I don't think you're right!

No, I clearly said I'm not saying he is wrong, I just don't think he is right.
As the person who made it , I never expect a suggestion like that would be implement in a short amount of time. The suggestion itself may not be the same as the one implemented in the server.Be patient and you will see it came on live. You never know if it is on beta and being tested and being optimizop multiples of times.Let the developers do their things, they already got enough stress and the coffee.

I wasn't aware a similar suggestion existed, but I will hold strong to see what happens at this stage.

Yeah but it discourages frivolousl arresting as that cop has to go through it too. Also would discourage recklessly open criminal activities from people
theres too much crime for this, rockford atm is like somalia on steroids. theres no point clogging up the police system
