Explain Your Suggestion: I think it would be beneficial if players could display pistols/ other concealable weapons publicly by choice. I think adding the item to /weppos would do this just fine. I suggest that any pistols appear on a players hip area / near where the police holster is.

Explain Why The Suggestion Should Be Implemented: There are some cases where a player may want to openly carry a small arm, for instance if you want to scare off any potential petty thieves who want to attack you, without using a larger gun.

For some rps people would indeed benefit of smallarms beeing shown on their character. Im thinking of security guards, private investigators, military personal, confident/prestige orientated gangsters, intimidating mobsters or people that want to make their criminal rp a little bit more tricky.

in most US states you need  permit to conceal carry. If this was the case in RF, the player could easily choose to have his weapon visible to avoid breaking laws una

You are limiting your mindset to criminalRP, what if I’m doing some clanRP and want my agents to be visibly armed?

+support I think this could be cool, especially if you want to be visibly armed for an RP but don't want to carry around heavy weapons, it could also make open carry more viable if people could only open carry pistols
