Did you just go from fully supporting rockford and then after the change, support it again until it didn't change...

and now you're supporting a change to V5P after everything

Quite the contradiction, must I say.

Am I not allowed to have a different opinion? I love Rockford, but v5p isn't a bad idea for the next map. I didn't say to change it RIGHT NOW. Not to mention, I always liked v5p, but I just wanted Rockford more. Now that most people don't like it anymore, why not change to v5p when we have to have a new map?

No, I just find it amusing.
v4b1.
Rockford is good.

To anyone saying V5P is the best, I don't understand why. The map is absolutely ENORMOUS and with our standard player counts, the interaction would become little to none. It seems like it would support lots of contra whoring, but not a lot of decent RP.
V5p and rockford are the exact same size, its just rockford feels smaller due to it having so much wasted empty space that hardly anyone ever uses.

V5P makes much better use of the max size limit of the engine and thus it appears larger, but in reality it is infact the same size
I'd persoanlly like to see v41b or v5p come in to play.

Meh, I like Rockford a lot but I certainly didn't mind EvoCity v33x and v4b1 either.

There's something about v5p that rubs me the wrong way though. I think it's the 'feeling distant'-thing you talk about with Rockford, that I'd experience with v5p if the player count wouldn't be very high at that time of day because of the size/emptiness of the map.

Personally I feel like this is needed for CityRP for a number of different reasons.

I believe the overall design of the map is perfect considering CityRP is a car-dependent server which encourages you to own a car, purchase gasoline/repairs (Utilizing Mechanics) and also enabling a purpose for individuals to either choose to be a Chaueffer or to operate as a Bus/Cab driver. The issue with these smaller maps is that ease in getting around without a car. Rockford, for example, allows you to get around to the majority of RP Zones in a matter of seconds on foot. V5P would create a separation that encourages you to use either a vehicle or public transportation (Bus/Rail) to get around the map.

Separation of RP Zones allows CriminalRP to exist in areas that aren't always in the local vicinity to PassiveRP. Rockford has an issue because it has few options for these role-plays to exist and you mainly see them occurring in the same areas over and over again (Residential/Industrial) whereas V5P presents an endless amount of opportunities and locations for these to occur.

Rockford is simply too beneficial to Government RP and every building you're in is off of a major road. There's no areas that are considered "off-the-grid"

Rockford is shitty mainly because there's nowhere to build, because theres either no flat ground or its trees blocking everything. I'd probably say I wouldn't mind keeping Rockford if there weren't so many fucking trees.

V5p seems like a good alternative, or have a map rotation.
