There are some of your suggestions in this thread, for example training police, whitelisting police etc. - personally I would love to see such systems implemented into the gamemode, but the playerbase simple wouldn't cope, you have to remember a very large chunk of the player base is below 15 (hence why a lot of SERIOUS rp servers have an age limit), who would rather run around minted and armed to the teeth than roleplay passively. Which is also why I doubt a police whitelist system would work as a lot of people don't have the patience to sit through training, they want to play as a cop so they should be able to. If they fail to do their job properly the chief has a /demote command for a reason, if they fail to do their job to the point where RP is being disrupted then staff can step in.

We shouldn't be restricted to what content we add based on a tag, granted. It is Limelight's server, therefore it is up to Limelight to interpret Semi-Serious in their own way. Although I do agree removing any tag full stop would solve a lot of problems.

This is gonna sound kinda fucked up but I think we should force people to verify their age before allowing them ti use Kevlar and heavy weaponry, this will increase the server's playability loads.

It might, but there is no way to prove your age unless Limelight added passport verification, so this wouldn’t work

  1. We would lose nearly half our playerbase.
  2. Age does not define ones ability to roleplay.
  3. It would give age verified players an unfair advantage.
