The post didn't get denied it got accepted lol.

Doesn't that mean then that we both got punished for it, so now we are on the same ship? So this is resolved now right?

I don't care if you didn't know that I could hear you, you still said it and it's not very nice to know that you talk shit behind my back anyways Sad

Trust me, you ain't the only one I talk shit about. It's a private TS chat, I can do as I please unless people in the chat ask for me to stop or I start breaking TS rules.

"Court needs to decide" seriously? You really think B.D. read PrisonDad's whole appeal? He didn't even remember it when I asked about it. - They don't care.

Unless you have any evidence, I will assume he did as he always reviews his cases.

Like I said, his first time being told it was against the rules, he changed it and got a perm warning

You aren't giving the whole story though. You saying he changed it and got a perm warning without context is nothing to compare.

There are clearly no "punishment guidelines" for staff

So you think me and Nightmare are lieing about staff having guidelines?

Don't say this happened because you talk shit about me behind my back, this happened because I see it as unfair. If you find it annoying don't respond - this is a conversation for the community as of a whole not just for you.

I'm part of the community, so I do have a say in you taking this out of proportion and just making this because about me insulting you:

-Removed due to no consent to post-

For those wondering it reads that if I didn't insult him in a private channel he wouldn't've posted the PR
.

I'm not angry with the fact that you "got away with insulting me" it's just not nice to know that a person with a role in this community, of helping and being supportive to players, is talking shit about players who have done nothing wrong behind their back.

You have done plenty to warrant me having a negeative opinion of you (Some in Gmod, some in Arma 3.)

And actually I do like BlackDog me and him have some all-right chats sometimes, what I do have against is people breaking the rules and not getting the same punishment.
I did say it wasn't a "bias" thread for a reason - So it didn't start a shit show.

Obviously you wouldn't see it as unfair because you got away with it Soviet.

I didn't get away with it though? The PR got approved. I got verbally warned...

Now I don't really wanna make this just responses between you and me so could you kindly PM your response to me via steam or the forums.

I'm a member of the community and have the right to respectfully say that you are taking this out of proportion because of a little insult you accidentally eavesdropped on. This has never been a big issue (except in "bias" discussions that people have had) and, again, I find it very annoying that you're bringing this up EVEN THOUGH IT HAS BEEN TOLD TO YOU MULTIPLE TIMES that I still got warned for my actions.

I've got a quick question for you Quest. Daley was online when you made the PR. Why didn't you @ call it?

I @ called it on Tuesday and I believe I also did on Wednesday.
PRing is easier than @ calls because you know that it's been dealt with.

Did you ever tried sending him a PM?
To say that it boils down to the context of the situation is, in my opinion, a misrepresentation of the truth which is really that it's just giving administrators the ability to issue a punishment based on their own perspective of the situation and how they feel like handling it. It's simply to give them power in situations and it's why you'll see them give longer punishments to individuals they don't necessarily like, players that have had a history, or for any other reason.

There are no guidelines, there are no minimum/maximum boundaries or suggestions that keep these punishments consistent. However, let's not lie and say it's all dependent on context when it's really just about withholding the power of being able to dictate punishments at your own discretion. If you have preset punishments you'd probably have more intentional rule infractions due to the fact that these individuals would go into situations knowing what possible consequences they might face

Nightmare, why do you think that whatever we post it's 'blown out of proportion'

You, an admin, will see differently as you're on the other end of the gun.

So for once in your life, see someone else's opinion and not just jump to what you deem necessary
The fact it's already been discussed once, and this topic has been brought up on several occasions leads me to believe this is being blown out of proportion. Enforcement of the rules has and always will be for the foreseeable future, at the hands of the member of staff who's handling the situation.

which imo is stupid as we have bias staff members
Adding onto this, after looking at a refund request for no reason I found this, now please  do explain how these are different cases.

So as you can see, this RR gets approved yet he accidentally brought the limo. Now I found another one by my pal.

Please do explain this as i'm confused how what  did is different to what Prison Dad did. Why did one get approved and the other denied? Something about FUMUKU?

- I didn't drive the Limo
- I already had one in my inventory
- I didn't buy it to "Test it out" like Prison Dad did and stated he did in the refund request.

Yet he accidentally bought it and so did you.

Because he:

Quote:thought he might as well give it a try and drove it around for around 3 Minutes and he did not like it so he doesn't want to keep it.

Where as I, didn't spawn the Limo until the refund request had been completed and put the request in as soon as a accidentally purchased it.
An accidental buy does not look accidental when you buy the car, test drive it, and then make your @ call and refund request afterward. Just looks like you bought it to test drive it, then didn't like it and decided you could pretend like it was accidental to get a refund. That is the main difference that matters here.
