What's too realistic for you?
Having the police sergeant be in charge of all the agencies, imo, becomes too much of a hassle for one person in LimeLight. There is not a proper system in place for that, and I have already stated in other threads that I don't think there should be an advanced system for the government because Limelight is a semi-serious server. I would say the system of the government works fine for what Limelight is. Each department has a leader and there is also the main leader, the president. Now if you were to change the Police Sergeant to control the SWAT department, it would need to be part of a bigger and new system. Might as well make the server a PoliceRP or GovernmentRP.
We're already cops and robbers half the time.

Alright well it would need to be changed, but Limelight, to me, is a place where the RP experience should be spread out across all jobs and have the most RP availability to players. Stressing on government is different then what I think it should be. If we were to stress the government RP experience, we would need to stress created more RP opportunities for regular Citizens and other dealers.

This isn’t really stressing anything. Of anything, it’s a huge mistake on the Government structure tbh. SWAT usually falls as a team in the PD. The Police Sgt is in charge of the PD. Wouldn’t it make sense for the guy in charge of the PD not be in charge of supervising a team under his department?
And you are welcome to suggest ways to improve RP opportunities for citizens. I don’t see how a slight CoC fix stops you.

Would create more unity in the law enforcement. Also realistic.

Police Sergeant and SWAT Sergeant are the same rank regardless of how you look at it. One shouldn't be telling the other jack shit in terms of what to do or how to do it.
Perhaps instead you could suggest adding in a Police Chief/Captain job, (make him a vip job if you want) that would be the central point of control for the police/SWAT. That makes a lot more sense.

Yeah, that thread was very positive with a lot of great suggestions and ideas within it. Could we possible have a reason why no feedback was provided? As it may help us understand for future suggestions.
Would be nice to hear why it was denied so I can fix it or change anything that was deemed not worth a vote.

Those who -supported failed to give a reason. Requesting input from @developer @admin @superadmin.
During the Serious RP night, the police worked extremely nice. True, we are a semi-serious roleplay server but that also means some parts of our server can be serious in a way. This allows a more professional police team to exist. We can find a balanced way to do this fitting our server. I'm assuming consequences of IC actions will also be heavier.

If I can ask , who -Supported? And I know this isn't the place, but why is it that when something gets Staff Reviewed, why is it not required to give a reasoning for them not supporting? Regular players push for it so much from other players (including me), yet during the final step of the actual yay or nay motion, they can just click a button and not share their criticism?

Under instructions from HR, I am not allowed to divulge that information.

That was prior to policies being implemented and enforced. -supporters are now required to give reasons for their -support, which are posted on the public thread.
