The Pre-Asked questions.
We're working on getting a transcript up of the rest of the meeting.

when can we have a space engineers server?
Internet: When it's more feature complete. Currently it lacks a number of features, as compared to Medieval Engineers. However, due to the connectivity between the teams, we expect these features to be ported over.
What are Staff going to do with the rising activity problem with staff IG? Some days we are left with one or two mods coming on and doing some or most of the work before they're burned out.
Enzyme: We've always had struggles with activity in the last part of the year due to many of our staff-members being busy with IRL things such as exams and work. We're constantly looking for new potential staff-members to fill the staff-team but it's a process that can take some time due to us being very careful with who we want to entrust with the powers and responsibilities that follow the role. Choosing the wrong candidate(s) can have pretty severe consequences on the server, the players and the community as a whole and we wish to avoid issues before they arise. Candidates that we're keeping a close eye on and who we plan to promote might go inactive for a good while, and promoting someone who's in an inactive period might only cause more problems than fixing them. Staff can get burnt out and they might have low-activity periods. This is only natural after spending thousands of hours on a game and we don't wish to just throw away old staff-members, but rather give them some time to prevent them getting too burnt out. Sometimes this works, sometimes it doesn't. We owe it to our staff-members to get some time off though when they need it, but this can sadly cause for a lack of staff-presence ingame. We try to deal with inactive staff-members where we ask them to compensate for a lack of ingame activity by being more active on the forum internally, and vice verca. When the staff-member in question is unable to do this, then they are spoken to before a decision is made.
Why do I see so many developers still remaining inactive (or in a specific case, stealing content from others and breaking server rules) and not dealt with by Human Resources? And why should they keep their position when some Contributors top their work and activity?
Enzyme: Issues like the ones described have always been viewed and treated very seriously, and staff-members (both administrative ones as well as developers) are dealt with. Just because the public doesn't hear about how it's handled doesn't mean that it isn't.
Why do some administrators not have to do any specialist positions, while one developer has to do 3-4 positions at once (These were including: Head of Development (or similar name), Head of Media, Head of Contributors, and Head of Discord)?
Enzyme: Specialist positions are taken by those who have the time, energy, interest and skill to do so. Those who don't are left to focus on their primary task as an Administrator. Putting that responsibility on those who aren't able to do so will not solve any issues. Some specialist positions tie in with each other, and a developer might be more suited for these tasks than an Administrator who was promoted purely for their administration-potential.
What's the situation with Toxic? I don't know how long he has been Moderator 1 for, but isn't it a Trial position? Is he being promoted, demoted, what? From the mixed things I've heard and seen from him, I would like to know what's the next step for him.
Enzyme: Toxic is at the moment a Moderator in Stage 1. He will climb up to Stage 2 once the Staff feels that this is the right move.
How is Human Resources dealing with inactive staff members in general? There are many admins that are currently barely active. Yes, they may have an excuse, but really? It's been months. We need active moderating staff on.
Enzyme: This question has more or less answered in your previous question about staff inactivity IG.
What is the future of Limelight?
Temar: In general, we're looking to expand the community and improve the gamemode. Those are our two biggest things in the short term. In the longer term, we'll be looking to expand into more than just a Garry's Mod community, but that's a process that will take years to bear fruit. Also, I'm buying a yacht.
Rockford has been described as a War Zone. If this is CityRP is there anything in planned for the future to remove the status of -Warzone- from Rockford?
Internet: A number of updates are being worked on to promote passive RP, as both a money-maker and as something fun to do. Whilst this won't counter the number of players who focus on aggressive RP, we hope that it will intice the middle ground to do more passive RP, rather than focusing on aggressive RP.
Firearms such as Assault Rifles and Sub-Machine Guns seem to be very easy to come-by especally ammuntion. Is there an plans in changing this at all?
Internet: Plans are in the works for a number of changes to weaponry. However, these have not been finalised yet.
There are quite a few vehicle imbalances in the game such as a 1980's RV being able to go from 0 to 35 MPH in about 1 second. Are there any plans for a vehicle revamp in general as there are many other examples of this?
Internet: Vehicle scripts are currently being worked on, with a higher focus on balance and quality control than prior updates. Whilst there have been some issues in the past, we're running on a larger spotlight placed on quality assurance before any changes are merged live.
LimeLight's Economy has increased quite rapidly to a quite unstable point with players receiving $600,000 (This was gloated about in OOC before) thoughtout the day. from the recent updates. Is there any changes that might be happening to counter the mass increase of the Economy?
Again, a number of updates are in the works. However, there is nothing set in stone at this point, due to it still being in the planning process. We're always looking at the balance and impact on the economy of our updates, such as the weed and contraband changes.
There haven't been much increase in clothing part from those involving Governmental Clothing with the recent Agent Clothing. Are there any plans for underground or other casual clothing such as the Rebels from Half Life 2 or even cosmetics such as Hats, Glasses and masks?
Internet: Yes, however developer who was working on it left, so it's currently a zombiefied project. Once we have developers or contributors spare to work on it, it will continue to be worked on.
There have been a lot of discussions of Administrative Staff (Mods and Admins as a whole) being inactive atleast from the server. Players have complained in that past when something major has come up. When the changes to the Moderator came out it was described as a Moderator Stage 1 would be a form of trial, at-least to test if they are capable and learn how to administrate the server. With the current number of Administrative Staff resigning recently, Are there going to be any advancements to support the loss of Administrative staff members?"
Enzyme: This question has more or less been answered in Soviet's previous question about staff inactivity IG.
The Agent Clothing from the C&C Update has been quite a stunning hit. Will there be any female alternatives of the models in the future?
Internet: We're always looking to improve quality for those who RP as female. However, due to the lack of modellers who can effectively do playermodels, this may take quite some time I'm afraid.
Are Limelight currently looking for staff members? There's sadly been a few resignations recently(ish) such as George, Obay, Bambo etc. Will there be more moderators handpicked to replace these people?
Enzyme: This question has more or less been answered in Soviet's previous question about staff inactivity IG.
The update of suit to the content from Suits and Robbers has been requested many times and is in the Approved Section, however If I remember correctly this was a project that has been wanted for many, many years. Is there any update to this as if it is in the works or where it is on the list of priority?
Internet: Currently all our developers are working on projects. However, once projects have been finished, an evaluation on priority will come for updates to be worked on after.
What is being done to solve the issue of the toxic members of the community?
It's causing people to reduce play time or even leave. HR already has some evidence that I have submitted on the subject and I have been collecting in-game evidence of such as well. Making PR's for everything isn't a solution to the problem, something needs to be done to discourage that type of behavior.
Enzyme: We're trying to address this issue in the way we see most fit, and that is to review reports against "toxic players" and to deal with them like any other report. There may be "toxic players" in our community, but if we were to simply ban anyone who we found to be toxic then our community would be little more than a dictatorship where we'd silence anything and anyone who we didn't like. We wish for everyone to feel welcome on our community as long as they follow our rules. We step in where we feel players cross the line, and they are often given warnings and (in some cases) bans. Whether a player is toxic or not is subjective, subjective, so a staff member might consider something toxic and not have that opinion shared by other staff members. We all have different definitions of what is innocent fun and what is purely offensive and we're trying to act on this as fairly and as consistent as possible. Consistency is very important for moderating a forum and community and we do not wish to blindly ban those who we feel to be "toxic". Our community is made up by players from all different age-groups and corners of the world, and we don't wish to get rid of our unique and creative collective "personality". Creativity is best when it's left to itself, as long as it's within fair and respectable boundaries. These "boundaries" are made up by our forum-rules which we expect our player-base to respect and follow. We act when people break these rules, but rules do not cover everything either.
Has it ever been considered to simply start coding a new gamemode from scratch instead of trying to slowly improve this one?
Internet: Yes, it's been considered. However, due to the amount of crap currently piled onto this gamemode, the amount of work that would need to go into a new gamemode that is optimised with the same features is untenable.
What will happen when S&Box is released and has the potential to have a gamemode such as CityRP 2 on it.. will Limelight transfer over or stay on Garry's Mod?
Internet: We don't know yet. It's too early to say. It's a project to keep our eyes on, but it's nowhere near production ready.
As Garry says, "There's a lot of 'is this Garry's Mod 2', the honest answer is 'maybe'—but nowhere near that yet.".
We're working on getting a transcript up of the rest of the meeting.

Thank you very much. Happy to see what they had to say about it, even if I find the response to basically be a deflection.

Unfortunatly i couldnt make it due to a tight time scheduel. I think its good that we have parts of the meeting sumbed up like that.
I hope they are more to come.
