Discord works for a small amount of people, not a whole community.
Dont want to come with an argument and rather assume something, how are you supposed to know if it works when we havent even tried it.
Also, video game companies dont have a "Small ammount of people" in the discords (as already mentioned Fractured Space)
Again, we’ve already had this argument. I don’t really feel like copying and pasting the same walls of text that were brought up in the original suggestion.
Also, the video game company situation with Discord was also discussed there I believe, so, again, I don’t feel like repeating the wall.
Well, do you have evidence that it does not work?

I don’t know. Probably in that old suggestion.
Do you have proof that it does? As from what I see, you have the opinion that it works for those specific gaming communities.

Uh, yeah.. Atleast I have something to compare it to, (FL also has a Discord and it works fine, no Spam, no begging for answers, probably because you need to be whitelisted to be able to write) anyways, Yes I do have proof that it works.

Could you might Share your thoughts with us, Why does staff get a Discord but not the community?
Because it reinforces communications and makes it easier for us to discuss changes amongst the team.
The community doesn't need this. It'd get hectic very quickly.

just make one yourself and invite everyone that wants to join.
Considering discord is FREE I see no negatives of this.
If you don't like Discord no one would force you to join the server, just like no one forces you to connect to the TeamSpeak.

Could you provide a reason? It literally had no downsides.
I literally meant to put +Support, its next to - in phone
as someone who has joined plenty of large servers that use discord and found no problems with it personally

I also don't see what so many people have against Discord. If you don't like it, don't join it. I'm finding TeamSpeak quite bad. I think Discord can provide others with a communication system.
I'm not fond of TeamSpeak and the only way of talking to others is it. I hate being forced to join TS and again, I don't really care if it suits a small amount of people, at least it gives them a chance to talk to other members of the community.
If you disagree, so be it.
Not trying to make hate (I like u all) just making a point.
