^ Dito. Just returned from the cinema. It was good.
Enjoyed it thoroughly.
Visually good and had funny scenes, but storywise it was blunt
It was lit. Just saw it. Only thing I had a problem with can be seen below (SPOILERS IN THE SPOILER! YOU WERE WARNED!)

I feel like it's a good movie to casual movie goers, or non star wars fans. Most people liked the force awakens as well, but it was a hollow story with plot holes.

Have not seen this yes, and from any fans I know, the reports have been that it looks good, the story is shit, and the action can be better.

No big surprise there, oh and it's pg 12 again ;/

Also, I won't be going to any of Disneys Star wars movies if I don't enjoy this one. There is so much untapped potential in that universe, and they just waste it away.

I was afraid I was going to have to buy a lootbox to get a ticket to see the movie, fortunately I was wrong.
I fell asleep for half an hour in the cinema whilst watching it so it was pretty bad.

That makes sense.

I don't even remember writing that wtf lmao
It was filled with plot holes, stupid jokes, generic characters, leaving interesting plot points from the force awakens behind, skipping world building - getting back to the generic rebel attitude star wars always returns to.

At the start of the movie it had me going, but knowing Mark Hamill was once again not agreeing with the direction did not inspire much confidence. I had hope it would be different, and better, but it was not. While I enjoyed it more then the force awakens in the early parts, the movie just goes fucking haywire the closer you come to the end.

This was a good opportunity to have a more dark star wars movie, instead we got a terrible movie, riddled with lame ass jokes. It looks stunning just like the force awakens and while a lot of the combat sequences make no sense, they look really good.

I am officially done with star wars - and it hurts to say that as a long time fan, but they are holding onto this concept of rebels and an established order, while there are so many opportunities, stories, novels, books, and ideas yet to be explored. And incredibly lazy and boring writing and screenplay.

Tick the boxes, make it for PG12 and move on. Fuck off Disney, you political correct fucks.

Saying that, Snokes guards where the coolest part of the movie.
Apart from everyone getting evacuated from the cinema half way through, it was pretty good.
But yeah, they have definitely 'disneyfied' it which limited how good it is compared to the older films.
Also now I am going to get into some spoilers.

If you want a creative and unique star wars story, go and play star wars knights of the old republic, while it's a mediocre MMO, it has amazing stories, and if you don't feel like doing that. Have a look at these.

Porgs. All im saying. <3
