Ever since they released the turd known as Rogue One, I gave up.   Force Awakens also was pretty bad, mainly because it's simply a remake, head to toe, of Ep. 4 A New Hope.

You thought rouge one was bad?
Rouge one was probably one of the best of the newest movies.

It showed the real pains of war. Decent characters aswell.

All hail the galactic empire!

And it would have been a lot better without Disneys we need a female lead and a pg 12 attitude.

The censoring was quite a terrible decision, agreed. Even Episode 3 had more "hardcore" scenes in the movie.
Just noticed someone asked me about Rogue One. Yeah, it was terribad. With the Disney takeover, the original tale about how the deathstar plans getting to the Rebellion is now this turd.

It wasn't some one way mission that lead to this. It was a turncoat imperial officer, whom was picked up and brought in by Kyle Katarn before he even knew he had force powers.

So instead I get a cast full of childhood drama crap going on, a character that proved that stormtrooper armor now serves NO PURPOSE when he defeated all of them with a stick (even though that armor is actually supposed to be highly protective, including offering protection from blaster armor) When the plans when missing, the Empire sent out it's first Dark Trooper Mk1 using the prototype repeater rifle, but Rogue One scrapped that too. Most importantly, the flaw wasn't built into the system, it was an oversight by the entire construction team.

Then they added in a ton of filler crap involving characters that served no purpose to the story (aka lazyeyed forest witaker), and Leia was never involved in a direct battle, nor did she ever have possession of said plans, much less would a former adept jedi turned sith Vader never once thought to just use the force to snap the lil USB drive to his hand knowing full well that it contained seriously sensitive information.... Same Vader who snapped Han's blaster out his hand quicker than shit in Episode 5, or any of the other times he used force pull, one of the most basic of abilities he actually has, making him look more like Jason from Friday the 13th with a lightsaber, aka badass but simplejack all at the same time.

The X-Wing wasn't nearly as common when the first battle of the deathstar took place, as the Rebels hadn't yet started mass production of said fighter, and should have been flying Z-95 Headhunters, there was an Interdictor class Star Destroyer, which wasn't developed till around Episode 6 and never saw service in the main fleet, it served in the outer rim fleet under Vice Admiral Thrawn, as his teams developed it.

The rebel fleet they used in the battle, is similar to the fleet they used in the battle for the first deathstar, aka an auxillary fleet full of non-combat ships and nearly no Calamari Cruisers were there, even though they knew they were engaging an Imperial PLANET. The planet defenses were a whole nother issue.

They basically wanted to make Star Wars Battlefront "the Movie" and try to pass it off as an explaination for how the plans fell into rebel hands, instead of going with the original story, because it was easier to cash out on the franchise rather than produce a good story.

I'm glad I "made like rogue one rebels" and watched a pirated copy of that movie, because I would have to force choke the shit outta whomever sold me that ticket.

I figure in the next movie, Mickey Donald and Goofy will unite with Sora Riku and Kairi, wielding keyblades.

And don't even get me started of "I'm obsessed with the mask of someone I never met" Darth Emo from Episode seven, or Captain Cholo in her chrome armor, reppin for south of the border. And why in the fuck do they keep putting in Leia's stepfather without giving him lines? He's a badass actor, Sons of Anarchy showed that much. Should have just put up a cardboard stand in cause seeing him do nothing, every time he appears, knowing that he died on Alderaan in Episode 4, is depressing.

Finally, over 10 movies now, they have yet to even bother explaining what the different color light sabers stand for. 10 movies. That's 7 Episodes, Rogue One, and 2 movies about the Ewoks on Endor, all of this live action, still haven't told you the meaning of the colors, which they all have meaning and they all call to their wielders for a specific reason.

Blue / Green: Guardians
Yellow: Sentinels
Purple: Former Sith (dark jedi, because Sith was actually a race, not a force alignment)
Red: Sith
Orange: Adept

There are even more, including Dark (black) which a specific type of force user can wield to mask their powers from the regular force users.

I'm pretty sure that in the Han Solo movie, they'll edit out the fact that he was a former Imperial Officer himself.

Leaving to the company founded by a former Nazi Supporter, Disney, to piss in the mouth of my childhood. The only thing good about Rogue One, was the robot, even though those robots never existed prior to that movie which is between Episode 3 and Episode 4 and somehow must have all been destroyed in that one movie, because you never see them again.

Only good thing about the prequels was Order 66.

You think I'm kidding. I literally like Jar Jar Binks. Thought he was alright. My favorite prequel movie was Attack of the Clones.

Legit, I am cancer inside and out.

Couldn't have said it better myself.  Cancer inside and out.
Haven't seen my brother in a year - going to the UK and gonna watch it with him. I'm most excited to get a blue slushy from Odeon more than the actual movie, to be honest. Those things are g o o d.
