An absolutely horrific event, my aunt and her boyfriend are doing a road trip from LA to Las Vegas and they arrived an hour before the event. They were at the hotel when the shootings occurred extremely close to them and I thank god they were not in the crowd. They are not allowed to leave the hotel and all they saw from the window was dead bodies, police, swat and helicopters. This is extremely fucked up and I'm extremely thankful they were not involved, the world is really fucked up no it's only a matter of being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

My thoughts go out to the victims families.

It’s being said that he wasn’t killed by police, but by a self-inflicted gunshot wound just before SWAT breached his room on the 32nd floor.

The death toll has risen to 58 people killed and more than 500 injured, its also been noted that the room mate, that was previously wanted in connection, has been said to have not been involved.

Isis has claimed responsibility yet the suspect has been reported to not have any ties to the terror group.

My thoughts are with the families of those affected, it truly is horrible.

This is something horrible. The food almost blew out of my mouth when I heard about this. That man was absolutely sick and literally had no feelings.

That's not funny. I live in Orlando (which had the deadliest mass shooting before this) so I know what it's like to live in a city after a tragedy like this. We (at least I) don't say "hahaha you guys got trucked!!!!" when there's people getting run over in Europe so have the common decency to not mock our tragedies.

You saw truck running in few persons 2 times if i recall correctly , america have problem , guns , have to deal with it , in europe its very hard to buy a gun , theres alot laws and licenses for you require simple gun , in america everyone can buy , maybe should restrict it would help a bit , im not saying they deserve , im saying it happens due to much freddom where everybody can get a gun
