Suggestion:
Bring back the ability to set our button model

Description:
Useful for RP builds and creating interactive props
Example include but are not limited to:

Cash register drawer is a button that activates elevator/hydraulic to open it
Prop Lever that activates when pressed
Doors
Chairs that slide out when pressed
Window Shutters
RP Items (ie. Making a gunshop, button_model would be the gun and the button text could display item name and price)
More button model options that aren't on the default list (light switches, HL2 Ep2 buttons/levers)
Etcetera

Lots of build opportunities no longer viable without button_model

I believe it was removed with one of the GMOD updates
+support. Was beyond useful for making touch activated doors

Due to a high level of community support, this suggestion has been moved to the Popular section.
From what I can see, this is a change made by Garry. It seems to be reversible, however, there may be issues arising from using custom models.

Pushing for Staff Review.
Approved.
button_model's lock has been removed in Revision 5926.
