Character Creation Menu - PDF Link

Reasons:
Listed in PDF

Increases overall level of role-play on all levels, Brings forth the ability of character development and progression, Introduces in-character consequences that are more severe than a 15 minute jail sentence, Large amount of new features available with permanent characters - such as ranking system for law enforcement, Opens up role-play on all sides to new gameplay changes - Permit to carry weapons / Certifications for businesses / Driver's License / Unique Phone Number / Etcetera, Economic benefits

Suggestion is dependent on the Removal of F1 Jobs which is currently pushed for Staff Review

Suggestion is obviously not a standalone suggestion and depends on multiple reworks of different areas and this is more to see if community members would be open to this idea

Quite frankly one of the best suggestions I have ever seen.

Definitely a +Support from me. This opens up so many doorways for roleplay, especially with prison sentences/hospitalisations rendering a character unusable for a period of time. CourtRPs would benefit greatly from this as more effort will be put into lengthy trials as outcomes wouldn't just be a 5 minute sentence but instead a few hours. This would also have an affect on clans and businesses too; not to mention the stock market (*cough* my SEC RP*cough*). Infamous criminals would be encouraged to plan their crimes, trying to reduce the risk of being caught or killed.

Relationships (business/personal) between permanent characters could also be implemented on top of record keeping (arrests, bank transfers, etc), allowing police to connect the dots in investigations - further expanding passive policeRP.

This would be an enormous step forward for Limelight.

Although many of the sub-suggestions (as this is a rather large change) may need some refinement, to not talk about development time since this suggestion essentially contains both the mailbox and phone suggestion.

Other than that, I'd love to see more permanent characters.
But alas, before the "serious vs. semi-serious RP" debate has been settled for good, we're kind of stuck in a loop.
