Only if you aren't informed you have a warrant. IRL you don't get an email if you are a drug dealer

"You are warranted for a search/arrest"

Because then its like, I need to remove my pots and produce so I dont get caught.

Also there is a way around it, you have 1 person at PD while the rest get ready, the moment it gets accepted they kick the front door in, I don't really see how this could make a difference.

Yeah removing the notification was included in the suggestion.

To be fair, as far as I can tell, there's nothing stopping cops for doing that in real life besides it being a huge waste of time and manpower (time being something that LL cops seem to have too much of.) Plus, if the notification is removed they could just get the warrant beforehand and then all show up together. Doing what you suggested would leave them down an officer. Unless you meant they all show up and then send someone to get a warrant which would still leave them down an officer and it would still potentially give whoever is inside a chance to either look innocent or be ready for imminent attack. Which of course would give them an advantage which is why the officers should just get it beforehand and roll up ready to bust down the doors.

It's really just a improvement of RP type of suggestion. Would it put some interactivity into getting a warrant? Yes. Would it slightly delay search warrant times and thus allow a possibility that no firefight ensues? Sure. Is that guaranteed? No.

That all being said, sure some guy could literally just sit around all day doing nothing but requesting warrants but then the force would be down an officer which on its own could be detrimental.
