Suggestion for <in-game/forum/teamspeak etc.>:
In-game
In detail, explain your suggestion:
Once a president has been killed/left office the VP should automatically take the office as president.
Why should this be implemented?
Once a president has left office in real life, by either resigning, being impeached. or even killed the VP takes office. Also, it's weird having a VP without a president.
-support, he can do the same without automaticly taking the spot.

Not if someone takes the position before him, or there is a roleplay reason why he can't.

if there is a rp reason why he cant automaticly take the spot, he shouldnt. If this was to be implemented there should be a check for handcuffs, rope, blindfold, injured state, unconsious state, etc.
Neutral, tending to +support
+support, but there would need to be checks for restraints before it occurs.

However - It would be great if it didn't despawn you like the MakeLeader. You should just change rolls from where you are.

What about a timer for the VP? He gets a notification that the President has stepped down and he can move onwards towards the President slot. The job then gets reserved for like 2/3 minutes so nobody else can use it. If the president clicks no the job gets open for everyone. Elsewise he will get the job.

If this is possible, that would be good!

This. Not everyone who is Vice President wants to be the President.

Part of the responsibility of being VP means that you are willing to take up office if anything were to happen to the presidency.

Not necessarily, the Presidential Succession Act states that each person becomes President "upon his resignation [from their previous role]." Any given person could choose not to resign from their current duties, and thus would be disqualified from being President. Disqualification is a valid reason to skip someone in the line of succession.
If a VP did not want to be President, they could simply refuse to resign from the Office of the Vice President.
I support the VP having a choice of whether or not to become President.
