Police and anti-summit protesters clashed for a second day, as world leaders gathered in Hamburg, Germany, for the G20 summit. Dramatic photos showed helmeted officers battling to keep order after 100,000 protesters poured into the city for their 'Welcome To Hell' protest against the meeting of world leaders.
Amid reports of widespread rioting and car-burning in the Hamburg district of Altona and elsewhere in the city, Der Spiegel reports that the Hamburg Police have asked for reinforcements from elsewhere in the country.
Der Spiegel cited an internal police message calling on “all available forces” to deal with a situation that risked becoming a “danger to life and limb”.
More than 160 210 (riot) police units have been injured. At least 20 of them badly.
- -Around 100,000 protesters from across Europe are pouring into Hamburg ahead of G20 summit tomorrow
- -German police is using water cannons against the protesters
- -They feared as many as 8,000 were ready to commit violence at the protest dubbed 'Welcome To Hell'

To be honest rioting isn't going to solve anything. Really think all the leaders take notice? and to for the venue of the setting merkel picked is just stupid for it to happen. Also i don't see why they're doing it if they dont like the summit dont take notice of it or go live in the east plain simple to end my statement all i can say is the aftermath will not be good on the area.

The point is that even if they are backed by good ideals at least in my opinion (Anarchy, communism, socialism, environmentalism ), shows of violence of this kind have the sole effect of justifying the other party's rethoric (e.g. the Berkeley mess, where because of some antifa punks the Alt-Right has emerged on the internet as heroes and threatened underdogs, while them being no better).
Just load one of these up with rubber bullets, pepperballs and CS rounds and those ±8000 protesters will be gone before you know it.

Well, since when does brute force actually resolve problems?
IMHO they should press charges against most of them and the left should firmly condemn the riots.
Actually the police is acting extreme brutal.
Yeah, from the videos I have watched today ; I have concluded the the police are using wayyyy too much force on the protesters but vice-versa, the protesters shouldn't be throwing stuff at the police, but the only reason why they're doing that is because the police are reacting to it.

Nothing is ok about socialism, anarchy, or communism.
The only thing that is reasonable to protest about is environmentalism.
Any person who uses violence to push for political change is a terrorist, plain and simple.
You can see how they just randomly walk up to a car and set it on fire. Seriously, how could it possibly help to set the citizen's cars on fire?
They are using the G20 summit as a reason to break every law the know.

Socialism: the belief that basic goods (food, water, shelter and healthcare) should be distributed based on need and not on greed.
Communism : The belief that society should exist without an economy and/or a market and aim to equally satisfy each member's needs.
Anarchism : The belief that the state and society should not interfere, or interfere the least possible with the will of the single person.
The latter 2 are of course unappliable to the human race due to our greedy and self-centered nature, and have failed miserably if applied.
As i said, both Antifa and some members of the alt-right e.g. Stick Man are unjustified in their act of violence and/or vigilantism and are no better than the 1920-30's blackshirts in Italy or the SA/SS in Germany.
I do not know who escalated the protest, but as I already said condemn the acts of whoever is proven guilty of starting this, sharing beliefs with me or not.

Unfortunately this is against the German constitution.
Burning cars, stone throwing and violence is a thing happening in Sweden daily.

I have a friend in Hamburg, and he explained that they burn and destroy small shops if they haven't put up signs saying they are against G20.
This looks like the Purge, if the subtitle was Apocalypse x200
