Mission:
The mission of the III Percenters is to uphold freedom and defend the rights of The People from oppressive governments, lawless brigands and footpads deemed too dangerous for police intervention, domestic terrorism, and hostile foreign invasion. The III Percenters will also work to provide relief during time of disaster and national emergency.
Origins:
The III Percenters came into existence following the unlawful assault on a private residence by the entirety of the police force. During this illegal siege, founding members Skeeter Jones and Ricky Hicks legally armed themselves with an assault rifle previously registered with the ATF and a common 12 gauge shotgun. The two managed to hold off until Skeeter went down and Ricky's shotgun jammed. Following a lengthy prison sentence, Skeeter and Ricky demanded the resignation of the corrupt officers involved with the arrest. When they refused to acknowledge the petition, they conscripted three additional Minutemen willing to join the cause and laid siege upon the Nexus. Shortly thereafter, Skeeter, Ricky, their fellow Soldiers of Freedom, and a 152mm howitzer defended Freedom's Door Step from a continuous onslaught. The blood of over 30 Agents of Oppression soon began to paint the dirt as the walls of their compound crumbled. In the end, however, the flag of Freedom waved on as victory was declared over the oppressive government armies.
