The III Percenter Minutemen Division exists to support the actions of the III Percenters while not being enlisted themselves. They are comprised entirely of brave volunteers who have pledged their support of Freedom and are willing to take up arms at a moments notice when the need arises. When the III Percenters have completed their mission, the Minutemen are free to return to their daily lives or to continue volunteering for their community by providing food, shelter, and/or medical attention to civilians affected by Tyranny.[/font][/font]

Hey now, we tried to treat you nicely (except for the whole tranquilizing you to move you around). And if its worth anything we didn't hostage you for driving by, you were taken hostage because we had been under assault for around 2 hours straight and the soldiers who did so likely thought you were part of another attacking force and were going to use you to try to leverage peace.

But uh... We all know how that turned out.

Saw your group once ingame. You + 2 other guys were Raiding nexus while there was no President and waited until the government forces arrive on top floor, then you kill everyone and run out in the city while you base in a shop at mainstreet and continue to shoot at cops..

Dont know what kind of rebellion would do that, since there was no leader of the Government and you guys slaughtered every Government Member who came a little bit too close..

Might rethink how you guys do a Rebellion against a leaderless Government.

We raided and occupied the highest office in the land, literally and figuratively, after every single member of the government decided to raid the law office of an innocent man they slaughtered 5 minutes prior. I don't think anyone died during the beginning of the siege (there were Minutemen on the bottom floor and I didn't have much contact with them). Rather than leaving immediately and potentially running into several officers who could've been waiting for us, we waited for a counter-attack and then counter-attacked the counter-attack and left without further incident. Then they attacked us in the law office again and were repelled once more. Once they were repelled, we all agreed to stop fighting.

We never intend to slaughter every cop who comes our way, it just so happens that they never stop attacking us. We do specifically warn them that if they refuse to withdraw their forces they will be met with annihilation.

Hopefully after yesterday's show of force against the oppressive government, we can actually exist peacefully for more than 5 minutes and do the actual RP we have planned.

Experience: I have worked as a Police Officer for several years now. I have passed the Academy with ease at the age of 18 and went on to patrol with the Evo City Police Department for 3 years now. I know how to handle a gun of course, that includes keeping it clean and being very careful with it. I also know how people think and can anticipate the next move people are planning. As an Police Officer I, of course, do know how to function in a Team and know that a team that works together is the back bone of every Company / Army and so on.
Why do you wish to enlist?: I have personally witnessed sever corrupt Governments oppressing the People and taking away the Rights of the People. I basically wish to enlist because I want to fight for the people, I want to serve them as much off-duty as on-duty. The people have rights and if Governments take away these rights I will do something about that.

The Battle of Evocity Courthouse

III Percenter forces have once more returned from battle victorious. The fighting began after corrupt law enforcement agents began firing upon peaceful demonstrators marching against Tyranny. Prior to these events, the III Percenters demanded that citizens be given basic freedoms as well as the right to bear arms without excessive fees. The President refused to cater to the needs of the populace and instead resorted to threats.

The march went somewhat smoothly, with the howitzer team experiencing some difficulty with the wheels. The march was a roughly 60/40 ratio of Enlisted troops and Minutemen volunteers.

There were many casualties prior to the attack on the Nexus, including the General himself. Fortunately, the General was soon given medical attention by a brave paramedic and continued to lead his troops on.

During the invasion of the Nexus grounds, III Percenter forces took hostage three officers against the General's personal wishes. When the President and their Gestapo had been located, the hostages were released and the raid continued.

In the final moments of the siege, five remaining ground troops, including two Continental Rangers, found themselves in the Evocity Courthouse facing a small army of SWAT Officers. During the firefight, 2 casualties were sustained. In a heroic act of bravery, Captain Grant of the 1st Continental Rangers laid down his life leading a final charge against the Forces of Tyranny. In the end, Sergeant-Major Ricky Hicks gave the President their last rites and executed them for crimes against The People of Evocity.

Many casualties were sustained during the skirmish.

On the III Percenter side:

KIA - 2 Minutemen, 2 Enlisted troops.

MIA - 2 Enlisted troops.

On the side of Tyranny:

KIA - Estimated to be 12.

For their extraordinary bravery in the face of danger, Sergeant-Major Ricky Hicks and Corporal Jack Lynch will be awarded a Distinguished Service Cross. Captain Grant shall also be awarded posthumously.

On behalf of the III Percenters and of Freedom itself, we thank and commemorate those who laid down their lives for The People. May they rest in peace and may God forgive their violent actions performed in the name of the greater good. A funeral service for those killed and missing in action will be held tomorrow.

Good meme right? But do you know the difference between your depiction of us and how it actually is? The people in your picture weren't fired upon by police without warning whereas we were.

The server seems to have this mentality that they should KOS anyone in possession of a firearm. The origins story on the main post isn't some joke or exaggerated at all. I had just spawned after a cop slaughtered me because he was there to arrest someone else and then the entire police force decides they want to bust into my law office. The other day I was a doctor and I destroyed my labs with a gun I already had equipped and when I stepped out of my building two officers ran up to me and shot me. I managed to get out a "dude stop what the fuck are you doing" and was able to switch back to my fists before they continued mowing me down anyways. We then asked the police sergeant that they be arrested for murdering an innocent man and stripping the freedoms of three more. Instead, the police sergeant called in for backup and informed us that he would not be arresting any of his officers. What followed was a fairly long standoff escalating to a firefight when the police decided to open fire. The words that came out of my mouth every two minutes were: "We will not fire first, do not fire unless you are fired upon."

I didn't ask for them to start shooting at us nor did I want them to. You can tell me all you what about how me ordering my men to sit in the Nexus with their guns on their chest is baiting police but I'll tell you that calling in for reinforcements when there are 8 heavily armed soldiers asking for justice is purposely escalating the situation. You want justice for the murder of an innocent man and instead you get the government trying to murder you as well.

During its short lifetime, the 3 Percenters has garnered this reputation that it's a bunch of cop killers. The truth is, you can't even get pulled over for running a stop sign on this server without the cop walking up to your car with their gun in their hand. On the second day of the clan's existence, we managed to place down the dupe of our compound and stand inside of it for a few minutes before we had to endure roughly 3 hours of near-nonstop assaults from the entire police force. We're not even allowed to build medical tents for us to freely distribute health kits and food without the doctor being slaughtered and everyone else arrested.

I refuse to apologize for ordering my men to have a weapon in their hands for when the government inevitably decides that they should be gunned down.

You describe yourselves as peaceful people, when in the reality, you are not. What do you expect when you pose a threat to the well being of the cops, people, and president? Their job isn't to sit around while you flaunt your guns and act like you are promoting peace. I agree there is an issue of police training but in 99 percent of the cases in which your clan was involved, the cops were fully justified in shooting to neutralize a threat. You wouldn't be gunned down if you had signs and marched. Maybe the police would have cordoned off a road for you. But you decided to walk down the road with trucks and a howitzer.

In this case we asked for basic freedoms and the ridiculous $2000 license to use any firearm be either removed or lowered. What happens next is the government immediately threatens us with death. In response to death threats, we performed a march demonstrating our superior numbers and equipment as an act of deterrence. Believe it or not we had support from the police captain who informed us that he would try his best to ensure none of his officers escalated the situation. The president then ordered SWAT to kill us all and we won. Then the government forces get mad at the police captain for not helping.

If it was realistic to expect police to fire upon an armed march then I wouldn't be able to google pictures of armed marches and not also get news stories of firefights that broke out. The purpose of police presence during a march of any kind is to prevent escalation, not do it themselves.

So no, believe it or not they are not justified in trying to kill us every opportunity they get.

Let us break down this reply compared to the situation that was at hand?

"Government immediately threatens us with death" - Let me begin - The president of Evocity at that time had taken your request into consideration and denied it. The words she gave may have not been to your liking however you jumped to conclusions. When the president said 'or else' at the end of her broadcast, she meant banishment. Banning you from the city to prevent any harm to the citizens that are now shitting themselves because they have seen you with a gun out.

"we performed a march" - By definition, march means 'walk in a military manner with a regular measured tread'. Now, this is where it becomes tricky because google gave an example: 'thousands marched behind the coffin'. (All this takes is a google search) Do you see a single weapon around a march (With coffin example) no. And, I know you'll say "This is completely different to what we were doing", let me stop you, please. 'Military MANNER' notice the word manner for me. This means imitation by my definition, which means you walk down the street in the form of military, not as one. Now, walking imitating one means that you walk in correct formations, following orders etc. (This is what you were doing) You were being one. You walked down the mainstreet, guns bearing to the public, with a howitzer.

"if it was realistic" - My friend, realism obviously isn't your thing as in a march, the only person to bring a gun is North Korea and the Roleplay, or realism on the server is not based from there but instead America and the United Kingdom.

Now, you complain about a $2,000 licence for a gun. Let me let you know something, as an ex-president myself. Weaponary is a tricky one when it comes to the public as everyone has a gun, and everyone wants to use one. Not only do I want to be able to keep control on what is and isn't illegal in the city but I also want to encourage (discretely) PassiveRP and as licences mean less of something, more PassiveRP in-turn.
You mention in in the reply "given basic freedoms". You had basic freedoms, and I can promise you now mate, being given the freedom to openly own and carry anything such as an AR-15 is simply meaning you're both a shit president and a massacre will occur at some point which will result in bans. No one ever gives the right to just have weapons, and had she removed the fact you're allowed to own one at such as small price and just said 'Fuck you all, no gun is allowed', you'd have complained again and still raided. It's what I like to call a little bit of contradiction.

Now, the howitzer. Someone walks through the streets of the U.S with an illegally held howitzer, I certainly am not going to just let them carry on. I'm going to do my best to eliminate the threat of, A. A massive military weapon being aimed and used against my government building, B. Some military scum from injuring the citizens i'm meant to be protecting, and you're meant to be protecting (According to your Bill of Rights).
Finally, to support the hate against you, and support the public in thinking you're idiots for what you did, you then come to your page and celebrate what you did. What does that look like to us? A cocky militant organization who couldn't give a shit about the people, but instead their public image of killers.

Overall - It was a bloody stupid idea to even bother walking through the streets with a military weapon capable of destroying an entire town in one shot, and walking with 10 men (Who at the time of server population was a lot) open carrying weapons and expect to not be shot.
